"Strapped for cash", that must be why you guys rented an entire office space that you never used and booked last-minute cross-country flights for three times the normal price.

This is insane:
“Our campaign raised almost $200,000,” she noted in Twitter shortly after polls closed. “And truth be told, I did not put nearly the amount of work into this that I should have.”
What idiot would openly admit that they didn't work hard enough when they're campaigning for a job? It's like showing up to the job interview and saying "well I didn't really work hard at my last job".
edit: I remember the campaign spending a bunch of money on pins, will they be generously donated to African relief organizations or something?
For as much as the media has been raging against Trump’s accusations about how they’re fake news they sure proved they are with all the positive press Brianna Wu received.Between the Globe fiasco and the vote percentage (low but not as low as expected), this could finally be the year that the media covers the realities of who Wu is—meaning, a scammer. Not a software engineer, but someone who has never held a job in tech save for the out-of-pocket vanity project that was her failed game. Not a crime reporter, but a junior writer who had maybe a half dozen boring pieces in a school paper. Not a DC insider, but someone who interned for Trent Lott for a couple of months.
I could see Lynch paying more attention to her this round, even if just in private. I could see his staff telling reporters to do real research on Wu and ask her about her supposed startups and how she used loved ones’ money to fund them only to squander every penny.
The three startups mentioned in Vox? Yeah, she’s talking about Rev 60 (funded by Frank, no money going to employees who were promised profits that never materialized), the animation studio (funded by parents only to never produce anything at all), and the fake ID business she supposedly ran as a kid with a lamination machine her parents bought.
I’ll take the optimistic ratings, but I do think the media will look closer at Wu this cycle.
Nice, one day post loss and he’s already threatening the Boston Globe who I’m sure really cares about Brianna Wu. Here’s to hoping they’re tired of his shit and will write some truth for a change. I bet Frank and John thought the Boston Globe was going to endorse his scam, that’s the endorsement Frank was tweeting about.
John is also the absolute worst kind of micromanager because he wants to micromanage things he doesn't know shit about, which is pretty much everything. He wants useless "updates" that he is too dumb to understand anyway so it's a waste of time telling him shit that just goes in one ear and out the other with nothing in between the ears to interrupt its smooth passage.
You would think that someone with as many skeletons in their closet as the Wus would not be trying to pick fights with the press. Especially when Brianna is only a few days removed from nearly having her not-so-true and honest womanhood revealed.Nice, one day post loss and he’s already threatening the Boston Globe who I’m sure really cares about Brianna Wu. Do secured loans work the same way in US that they do in UK?
I have something of value that wont seriously depreciate and I would like to use it as security on a large loan please.
Because the cars dont count, so WTF do the Wus have that they can secure a loan against?
I've always suspected that Frank has a house tucked away somewhere that he's not telling John about. No way does a guy earning what he does rent rather than invest in a house.

I don't think Frank understands what a "secured loan" means. I think he's just referring to the 50K he bunged in to the campaign coffers.
Keep going, John!
LOL, Wu's adding a third member to her fantasy staff.

That's, what? 10K a month minimum. She'll spend more than her campaign raised last cycle even before the campaign proper actually begins.
What the fuck does she need a press spokesman for anyway? Nobody is going to give a shit about her for over a year. I mean, obviously this is just more of her fantasy big boss lady shit and none of this is going to happen any more than it did in 2017, but people must see this utterly absurd.
There’s a fetus in the 30th trimester looking for a job. I believe you hired its mother previously to manage your twitter account.LOL, Wu's adding a third member to her fantasy staff.

Instead, they rent, Frank takes loans against his 401k, they have bookshelves of expensive action figures, and Porsche’s in their yard.
Specifically, he's shopping for one of those career political consultants in the DC area to be willing to put up with his dumb bullshit and somehow get him elected. That's a special kind of delusional as these people know their worth, do research on prospective candidates, and, you know, are gearing up for the shitstorm that will be the 2020 Presidential election.I think you're burying the lede here. John is so delusional he thinks someone would actually be willing to move to Massachusetts to work on his scampaign ... for an election that's 26 months away. It's crazy enough to begin with; it's downright hysterical when you stop to consider every single person who's ever worked for him has been used and thrown aside, or quit in disgust.
