I know it's early days yet, but if the results are anything to go by the turnout has been quite high. Can't imagine they're turning out to the Lynch/Wu race since most of the votes are for Lynch so far. I guess people are excited over the governor's race or something? Care to comment, @W person cow

Unfortunately so. What I meant is that 8th District Congresswuman John W. Flynt's antics would cause everybody to forget that 5th District Congresswoman Katherine Clark, a total laughingstock, even exists.
 
A bunch more reported just now. Lynch stretching his lead to 70+%.
Edit: Also, Voehl is closing the gap on Wu. Come on, horsie. You can do it.

the Boston parts of the district are also going to have high turnout because Suffolk County has a really contentious district attorney's race

it probably will because all the old townies who hang out at costello's/the galway house will come out for the guy with an Irish name

plus some of those liberals are gonna be green party registered which means they can't vote in the dem primary

After playing Fallout 4, maybe Warren isn't wrong.

Besides, I'm sure Wu will get a big boost from all the feral ghouls voting for their own.
 
You know, I think the best possible outcome would be for her to come in a mediocre or close second. It would save Massachusetts from actually having to deal with her in any capacity for a while, but it would inflate her ego to the point where she would go even more absolutely nuts and consider herself practically President-Elect or something. Free lulz, no consequences.
 
She isn't going to sniff 30%. That's a crushing defeat however you slice it. Half her votes are probably people voting for anything but Lynch just out of spite.

@Slowboat to China don't worry, she's not going to even come close.

She's at 22% with 8% reporting, I'm guessing (slightly informed) in a district like this she isn't going to start surging later. Probably is fairly homogeneous and Wu doesn't really have a "base" part of it, she has no roots, that's part of the problem with her campaign, but I digress.
