Do you think Weigel just thought John was out about being trans because it's so screamingly obvious he never considered otherwise?
Probably browser cache.Still up for me but I wonder if Wu will try to get it scrubbed from all the syndicated sites as well? St Louis Today, Mercury News, etc... all have it up as well.
I'm not sure this is the retraction John was looking for.CURRENT YEAR journalist said:Clarification: An earlier version of this story said that Brianna Wu is transgender. She identifies as a woman.
I'm not sure this is the retraction John was looking for.
Likely a coincidence, but Marty Baron is the HNIC of the WaPo and also held the same position for many years at the Boston Globe, which Wu shit all over last week.Still up for mebut I wonder if Wu will try to get it scrubbed from all the syndicated sites as well? St Louis Post-Dispatch, Mercury News, etc... all have it up as well.

Fuck that squinty-eyed, open-mouthed goblin. The poor dogs are who my heart goes out to. This is the one time I'm hoping they're chained outside or locked in the basement.Press F for Frank's eardrums.
You say, "potato", I say "potato". So we're down to playing semantic games, huh, John?
I have never known a single natal woman who said, or would say, "I identify as a woman."
Considering it's the WaPo, I wasn't expecting the "correction" to be dripping with sarcasm. I wonder what Bribri's response to this will be.Still up for mebut I wonder if Wu will try to get it scrubbed from all the syndicated sites as well? St Louis Post-Dispatch, Mercury News, etc... all have the original up.

Polls close at 8 EDT...
Should we open up a new thread for Election Day spergery or just do it here?
A couple things, John/Brianna Wu learned nothing from this experience and nothing from the paid seminar he went to or the advice experienced politicos gave him. He couldn’t even comprehend why he needed endorsements or how to pander to an old man who asked if John would golf with his buddies like Stephen Lynch did. This is all because he has a massive ego. I honestly think he thought “Brianna Wu” is wildly popular and that his name alone would carry him to victory. Too bad real life isn’t twitter.I think she thought she'd be hanging out with rich powerful important people who would be bowing down before her and throwing money at her. She had no idea that grass roots politics is about pretending to be working class and going to events in Elks Club lodges and library basements where everyone is old and grumpy and nobody has much money.
I would say now that she knows she won't try again, but I think she doesn't even know that's what running for office is about. If she does figure it out in the next 2 years, she won't run.
