That's something you won't see very often in this thread, actual political campaigning by a real candidate, Ayanna Pressley being BASED AF again. :feels::like:

I blocked his path at the state convention and made him wait for me and Brianna to finish talking.

I think you're right about people voting for her thinking that she's Asian. Back in the early part of her campaign I was talking to someone at a big union who was excited to endorse her because she was a minority progressive woman. Haven't heard anything from that union about her since, so they must have found a photo of her.
 
Wu appeared on TWiT yesterday. Two days before an election she really though the best use of 4 hours of her time was to appear on a has-been's podcast to talk about Apple products.

No fucking way is she running for election ever again. She can't even be bothered to put in any effort this cycle.

Either that or she's convinced herself that she's done enough for this campaign cycle and that come 2020, it'll be "her time".

That said, I could see Brianna falling out of love with the Candidate Wu charade. While it did give her more attention for a spell, this campaign has exposed him more as a dumbass than GamerGate ever did.

Since when has effort played a role in motivating any of John's decisions? LARPing as an active member of the #RESISTANCE is enough to give John the phantom boner + asspats he craves.

I agree. I would love to see how Brianna tries to argue his way out of this one. I'm guessing he's going to scream at Dave about how the "trans" thing is some dirty GamerGate rumor meant to discredit him.

Considering how many openly trans candidates are out there right now, Brianna can't make a good argument about how being transgendered ruins his political aspirations. He also can't say something like "I just want to pretend like I'm a natural woman because the reality triggers me" as that won't hold much water. He's either going to try to say it's all rumors spread against him by the alt-right or he's just going to try strongarming the guy with a threat of a lolsuit.
