Wu may be about to announce her next endorsement... BUT.

Ele Fucking Giggle.

The lesson here is: Don't fuck around with the biggest newspaper in your locality if you're running for office. I'm pretty sure they weren't going to endorse for district 8 until Wu pissed them off with her sperging about photos.

I love the commenter beneath the article who said, "The reason Stephen Lynch will get another term, is because no one challenged him, other than Ms. Wu who drives her porsche to her door-knocking stints." [italics added]

Oh snap. John banked heavily on using that Porsche as part of his badass ninja biker chick schtick, and weirdly, it seems to have completely misfired. It's almost as if people aren't favorably impressed by the childish flaunting of his expensive toys.

any chance you can quote it? I can’t see the article.

Wouldn’t it be funny if this is the endorsement Frank was betting on? No one sane will endorse Brianna. People know this is a scam.

John rejects dirty corporate blood money and stands with the people.

View attachment 531273

John: "I stand with the working class, the under-priviliged and the poor. I know your struggles, let me fix them".

Also John: "I'm upset a new expensive sports car will make my old expensive sports car obselete".

It's shit like this that leaks through the cracks with his real life and shows just how out of tune John is with the people he is targeting.

Imagine you're a broke ass mofo living in MA. You drive a shit motor that's constantly breaking down and you're struggling with life. Then you see a John compaign status and say "this person may actually help me! I may vote for them! They understand me!".

Oh fuck it never mind, John's upset his luxury purchase will be obselete when another luxury purchase gets released. That is the textbook definition of privilege right there.

Sure, it's not very interesting though. It might as well just read "Fuck Brianna Wu in her fake gash!" 20 times.

Endorsement: Stephen Lynch, and his independent streak, deserve another term

AUGUST 31, 2018

Last year, it seemed like Stephen F. Lynch might have to worry.

The South Boston Democrat has served in Congress since 2001, representing parts of the city and the South Shore. He has shown an independent streak, most infamously when he voted against Obamacare in 2010.

Lynch drew two opponents: Christopher L. Voehl of Milton and Brianna Wu of Dedham, known for her role in the so-called Gamergate controversy, which drew attention to online misogyny.

But neither has gained much traction.

Some Democrats may never forgive Lynch’s Obamacare vote, but he’s helped protect the law in the years since. The Globe endorses him for the Democratic nomination on Sept. 4.

Incidentally, just turn off Javascript if the Globe's paywall is bothering you.

This statement also seemed grossly over-the-top, even for a clinically insane narcissist like John: “I image people [fighting] in World War II didn’t want to do that, but you did because you loved your country. That's exactly why I’m out here, too.” Like sitting on his ever-fattening ass playing Candy Crush all day is the equivalent of serving as a Marine infantryman on Guadalcanal. Deranged imbecile.
My SAW gunner's grandad was an 0331 and did 5 islands in the Pacific. His words of wisdom before we pumped out for the first time were:
M's badass Salt Dog machinegunning grandfather said:
They can always bring you more ammo.
John can always spend more of Frank's money. So, there is at least one similarity.

My grandfather was a Royal Navy biochemist in the war with over 9000 confirmed mosquito kills in Burma. So, you know, WW2 had plenty of blood sucking parasites, just like Wu.

This deserves its own post.
She’s practically electric while telling me and her husband about a group of construction workers she’d run past. She had thought they were catcalling her, only to realize after she took her earbuds out that they were in fact shouting about how they planned to vote for her in Tuesday’s primary.
This explains what really happened when an ugly, fat, troon, or all of the above feminist claims someone "catcalled" them. Some man says something innocuous to them, but they weren't paying attention so they assumed he was trying to rape them.

I love how frank is pumping that Kotaku article they wrote for John when throughout the whole article they take subtle to less subtle jabs at John throughout the whole thing and frank still thinks it was a good write up. All it did was make John look like a wannabe low effort charlatan. Wish I could reference back to quote properly but I'm phone posting but like the whole "Brianna called up people and paid for thousands of phone numbers and personal information of people in her district while we were having our interview, The very thing she said she was fighting against." It just extrudes the way the interviewer felt how John is just a joke. "Instead of being met by a campaign team I was met by her 3 dogs who were the only other company I would have that day." "Most people felt interrupted and caught off guard by the awkward interactions of having wu walk up to their house." "we sat in her makeshift office with her imac on a dining room table while the AC was set to a very cool 63 degrees." (Like God I live in cold canada, 72 is what's reason. Sexist AC much? Since that seems to be a thing.) "While talking to people her comments about gamer gate and cyber security seemed to just float over their heads." "They took my moonrocks comment out of context (...) it could still happen but who can argue with the stuff trolls were saying!" Including William shatner himself.

Wish I could've quoted it properly but thats the jist of it. fuck do they not see the spotlight that they're shining down directly on this scam? What a shitshow really I can't help but laugh at their ignorance.

This article on impeachment doesn't put her in a flattering light either;

Local candidates for Congress talking up impeachment
By James Pindell GLOBE STAFF AUGUST 31, 2018

Democrats in solidly blue Massachusetts, however, have less to fear from Republican rivals in November. So in a number of competitive primary races, Democratic challengers agitating for impeachment are using the issue to distinguish themselves, and to jab more circumspect opponents.

“If I were serving on a jury right now, I would say it’s beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump is unfit to be President. I don’t say this lightly,” video game entrepreneur Brianna Wu, who is challenging US Representative Stephen F. Lynch in the Eighth District, wrote in an e-mail.

Backing impeachment may help little-known contenders make a name for themselves more effectively than touting wonky distinctions on health care or trade.

“It’s not surprising that the only candidates who are publicly advocating impeachment at this stage are Democrats in contested primaries, who think they can win some extra votes by trying to outflank their fellow party members in taking anti-Trump positions,” said Dave Hopkins, a Boston College political science professor. “But this is a case where the incentives of individual politicians don’t line up with the optimal strategy for the party as a whole.”

Nationally, Republicans have been eager to provoke the impeachment conversation as a way of showing that Democrats are not focused on actual issues, and as a way to excite the GOP base. Trump has fired up crowds at rallies by raising the specter of impeachment-minded Democrats.

This article on impeachment doesn't put her in a flattering light either;

John has demonstrated on countless occasions that he lacks a seventh-grader's understanding of how the Federal government works -- filibustering in the House, issuing subpoenas by himself, signing legislation as a congressman, etc.

Now he thinks he'll be sitting on an impeachment jury with reasonable doubt as the standard to meet during deliberations. Never mind that that the "jury" in impeachmemts is the Senate, not the House. Never mind that "reasonable doubt" is not mentioned in the Constitution's procedures on impeachment. How can anyone be this stupid?

Man, it's almost like it wasn't a good idea to start shit with a news outlet that's given you a ton of unwarranted press. I like to think that the editor saw Brianna's little shitfit from Twitter and gave the order to bury the bitch.

That said, I do think they owe their readership a formal apology for wasting their time with all the drivel written about Wu on their site and for propping up an obvious con artist.

Even Kotaku can't bring themselves to suck John's severed dick anymore.

And they were ALWAYS willing to do that.

This deserves its own post.

“When I arrive at the headquarters of Brianna Wu For Congress, a modest house near the bottom of a quiet street in Dedham, Massachusetts, the candidate is just back from her morning run. She’s practically electric while telling me and her husband about a group of construction workers she’d run past. She had thought they were catcalling her, only to realize after she took her earbuds out that they were in fact shouting about how they planned to vote for her in Tuesday’s primary.”

Jesus.

“Once we arrive at the house and meet up with Brianna, there are no staffers or volunteers. Instead I’m greeted by the barks of three small dogs, various mixes of Havanese and Bichon, named Kablam, Splat, and Rocket. For the rest of the day, these are the only other life forms associated with the campaign, outside of Brianna and Frank, that I will hear from. She says this is because of how the campaign is a target for online stalkers and harassers, and out of a need to protect her staff from the type of daily attacks she’s had to deal with since coming out in defense of women developers during the peak of Gamergate in late 2014. FEC records list about half a dozen workers on the campaign, but with no real detail or consistency to help illuminate how much the operation expands beyond Brianna and Frank”
There’s too much great shit in the article to pick over ever juicy bit, but you gotta love how Brianna “Sea Walls and Nanomachines to Save Us from Global Warming” Wu has such a phantom boner for his Porsche that they have to take that *and* the super-eco-friendly Charger just to haul three people around for “campaign” shit.

Edit:
@W person cow
“For example, she intends to pay third-parties to collect the 2,000 signatures she needs to get on the ballot next time, rather than trying to do that all by herself, and also build up a more sizable warchest of fundraising from cybersecurity and net neutrality advocates much earlier in the process.”

Kind of? They are still pulling the card a couple others have of "we won't just call it the incompetent scam that it is but we'll imply it as much as we can". It's cowardly as hell for none of these writers to show some backbone and actually do the report on Wu he richly deserves, but I suppose these little backhanded write-ups are the best it's ever going to get.

All this press is great. Soon when the people of district 8 will no longer say “Brianna Who?” But instead “oh that joke. I’m voting Lynch.”

LOL. John is still trying to defend his "moon rocks" re/tardation by dragging Heinlein's name into it. Well, by that logic, I can prove that gay vampires exist by invoking the works of Anne Rice.

Also: comparing your campaign to being on the battlefield? SERIOUSLY, Wu? As someone with several family members that put their lives in the front lines, let me just say, "GO FUCK YOURSELF".
