No wonder John thinks McCain is awesome. He shares McCain's views on real women. True, McCain apologized because, as he said, he "was exhausted". But he had a well earned reputation as an arrogant prick going all the way back to his time in service.

The only reason he's being embraced by people like John now is because McCain was involved in trying to take Trump down with the Pissgate dossier.

Prior to that, it was an article of faith on progressive websites that McCain exaggerated his military record, was a loose cannon who did more harm than good, and was vile to the wife who financed his political career (it's been much remarked that he only married her for that exact reason -- he needed her funding to fuel his congressional ambitions).

It's never going to happen. There are more than enough favorable outlets and John has enough low animal cunning to ensure favorable interviews. The closest we'll ever get is the recent article unless some previously woke "journalist" decides to go full shitlord and chooses John to come out of the closet with. They just need John to be a cardboard cutout to point to. Anything more exposes just how goony he is without even getting into his failure of a lie of a life. Anyone in setting John finds acceptable who would genuinely want to hear the answers to your questions knows not to ask them.

In his 100% true and honest backstory he's a bisexual. I dunno if that counts as queer in today's minority alphabet but he certainly seems to think it does.
In reality, his "girlfriends" were more like "victims of his stalking".

I have yet to see anyone name a girlfriend but he did come up with his Brianna troon name from a dude named Brian he had an unrequited crush on.
 
He had that imaginary girlfriend and SOCCON collaborator named Lauren Milovy, who was named after a Bond girl and was kind of like the predecessor to Natalie O'Brien

Not that I really want to have another deep dive with John's terrible writing, but I'm tempted to say that Minuette was his favorite given the amount of time and energy she's given in all of her incarnations. Comparatively speaking, his self-inserts (Brea and later Holiday) are pretty flat.

Then again, part of it could be that Minuette is unapologetically stolen from Sailor Moon and thus had a character to begin with rather than having to rely on John to write one.
 
I think Bree was a self insert / crossover with parasite eves Aya Brea. The election eve logo was a direct copy of Parasite Eve’s, and the chapters were named after songs from the soundtrack.

Yeah. This is the story that gets trotted out. I think it’s wishful thinking. I just don’t buy that a woman would hook up with John as either “totally straight man” John Walker Flynt, or as “true and honest woman” Brianna Wu. John certainly is queer, but not in he way he claims to be.
