I wonder how many hours John the predacious sociopath has spent in front of mirrors bordered with photos of grinning humans as he vainly attempted to imitate that weird thing they're doing with the muscles in their faces. Does he curse in "fustration" as he fails to mimic their incomprehensible expressions? Or does he actually believe that his nightmarish, unearthly snarl is a passable approximation of a smile?
