Earlier in the campaign, I really thought this whole venture in to politics might be the spur for the media to finally take Wu seriously as more than a fluff piece and research who she really is. Turns out that although the entire fourth estate decided to neglect their job of informing people who their choices are for one of the USA's more senior political offices, Wu has somehow managed to be so obnoxious that people got the message anyway. The system works?

Anyway. The She Geeks Out panel starts in a couple of hours and it's allegedly supposed to be livestreamed. I'll see if I can find a URL closer to the start. (Edit, URL: http://livestream.shegeeksout.com/ )

Edit 2: IT BEGINS. Wu is wearing the One True Politican Dress. Frank just appeared. Stream is stuttering like a motherfucker.
Edit 3: Oh god my ears. Compression, people.
Edit 4: Wu just made a wonderful snarl. I should have tried to record this.
Edit 5: Jesus. This is painful. Audio feedback galore, can't even be bothered to put a software compressor between the input and the mixing. Did I mention this is at the office of a livestreaming company?
Edit 6: LOL, host says "women don't run because they feel they aren't ready." Wu nods her head wildly.
Edit 7: Frank knows what district he lives in. He's looking very carefully at his crotch.
Edit 8: Even Wu's biography is wrong in her introduction. She doesn't offer a correction.
Edit 9: Host says "Wu is badass woman ready for public office." MY SIDES.
Edit 10: Wu lies about being at Hilary Clinton campaign on election night because she worked with them. Actually she scammed press credentials from Bustle I think it was. She didn't even write anything.
Edit 11: Sam is speaking. We get an odd perspective on Wu, twitching like mad with crazy eyes. Scary.

The host is encouraging the crowd to read up on GamerGate :cunningpepe:

She's saying she was at Hillary HQ on election night, she's now claiming that GG ran people out of work, Frank gets a round of applause.

Close up is showing her face and she's twitching and staring like a mad man. Claiming that 4 friends gave their life in the Iraq War and that her job as an engineer is public service.

Actual politician is talking now, Bri is so out of her depth right here.

Alas I didn't really prepare for this. My laptop hard drive recently died and since them OBS has refused to actually record anything. Some combination of switchable graphics and ATI and drivers. Who knows.

That fucking dress, omg. Why would you wear such a revealing piece of clothing when you're going to be sat down like this - and facing an audience and cameras?

I know the Porche's sound system and ejector seat faker is expensive and all, and Potbelly sandwiches don't come for free, but Frank really needs to flash the cash a little more if poor Brianna can't afford a decent pant suit like all the proper politicians.

At least real, actual women in politics have seen Wu in action now, and can judge accordingly?

I thought that the snarl was exaggerated, maybe something she'd done every so often, but holy shit. How can someone think that that facial expression is a good idea?

Also, unrelated, but I hate this idiot ranting about white supremacy and abolishing ICE. I feel like there's a sizable portion of people who will vote R across the board just to spite them.

I really hope Wu is taking notes. Every sentence Ayanna spits has a purpose. Wu can't even ramble her way to a point most of the time.
