Actually you don't even need to touch them. Assault is just the intent to attack. If you swing-anda-miss, it's still assault.


I saw this chick getting arrested the other day on youtube. She claimed that she was a "free inhabitant" and explained that it means she "gets all the rights but doesn't have to follow any of the laws." She kept insisting for the cop to "call his superior" and ask them about it.
Apparently it's some dumb interpretation of The Articles of Confederation (pre-constitution, which is still law in the original 13 states except where it conflicts with the constitution). Was almost as dumb as those "sovereign citizen" folks.

Apparently the person Wu is defending is married to someone who did prison time for the attempted murder of a federal officer. Pizer also seems to be a very successful con artist whose talent John admires.

Also, am I the only one that finds the "seats that shake and make SFX when you push [some button]" really cringe-inducing? I can understand wanting to make the appearance of your car match a cool car from a film or something, but sound effects? It's just so utterly childish and pointless. Pretty sure there's some sort of safety issue around having a car that billows red smoke into the interior, too. But I'm not a female software engineer, so what would I know.

Calling it now: Wu's next hustle is being the guy who brings his cosplay car to regional sci-fi conventions in order to impress people with the amount of :autism: it requires to faithfully recreate a vehicle featured in two issues of a relatively unknown comic series. He may even win a hugo for best car cosplay.
