Looks like Brianna's having one of her crushed-ambian-on-a-mirror nights. That's the only explanation I can think of for why she would need to make up a story about gay third-graders killing themselves. I'm surprised she didn't add more details, like he jumped off a bridge with his boyfriend, leaving a letter addressed to her personally, telling her to run for congress and make sure gay rights are protected and the Klan is defeated.
