I'm actually seeing a lot of this type of talk on social media. The ironic talking point seems to be "it's time to get tough, and talking about it on twitter isn't enough anymore". Of course, so far I haven't seen anything else though. The left has been looking for for a really emotional hot button wedge issue ahead of the election they can really sink their teeth into. This seems to have everything they could hope for: immigration, kids suffering, race. It's like the perfect storm. Speaking of storms, Stormy Daniels and guns seem to be yesterday's news.
