Me, I'm not so sure he didn't just go to a regular summer camp where everyone called that weird Flynt kid "space cadet." Even the counselors.Going to space camp is pretty common for rich brats of which John was one so I assume this is one of the very few things he rarely tells the truth about.
SOUNDS CATHOLIC is all he was looking for. What the fuck is he talking about? The Council of Trent laid down the principles of the Counter-Reformation. I don't recall anything in there about the Third Temple, Armageddon or the Antichrist.
Just think of all the massive untapped potential in the video game market for people with severe cerebral palsy.

https://www.evilcontrollers.com/accessible-gamingWe begin our process by receiving a custom order inquiry over the phone or through email (custom@evilcontrollers.com). We spend time getting to know the customer, and oftentimes they provide images and/or video of their current gaming state. After learning about the customer and what their gaming needs are, we go to work. After creating a prototype, we work with the customer to create any improvements and then arrive at our final product. The process does not stop here. After delivering the controller to the customer we love to follow up to make sure we have a happy gamer with their needs met. We are always willing to go back and improve upon what we created, and we strive to create a relationship with every customer we have.
Correct me if I'm wrong, did he just spew bullshit, get called out on it, and then redirected the guy to argue the facts and details with the long dead source?

Perhaps Wu knows more than we do. I could see a Signs style plot-twist here, in which she isn't an alien disguised as a human, but a demon wearing the skin of some poor bloke named "John Walker Flynt".What the fuck is he talking about? The Council of Trent laid down the principles of the Counter-Reformation. I don't recall anything in there about the Third Temple, Armageddon or the Antichrist.
It doesn't sound like he got Christianity from his family. Frank talks about his conversion experience at age 12 here:I'm guessing Frank's family are fairly strongly religious in that way that first generation immigrants tend to be, and Frank is firmly indoctrinated in the tradition.
Yeah, I see that they have no chronically unemployed trannies among their number, fix this immediately John.

If this is actually what she learned in Sunday school, it tells us a lot about the type of Christian background she was raised in. It also says a lot about how incurious she is that even after dropping that particular strain of Christianity and at least briefly becoming an atheist, she never bothered to learn how horribly atextual those sorts of beliefs are.
This is the sort of nonsense that gets circulated in American evangelical churches back up by awful "Christian" fiction like the Left Behind books. In particular, it's the sort of nonsense that you come up with when you try to interpret the old testament prophets, who were understandably very concerned about the Jewish temple and the Jewish system of worship, as being predictions of what would happen in some far distant future to people with a whole different religion, culture and system of worship.
I don't think Wu is really any sort of Christian. Before she met Frank she was an atheist, and I think her current Christian persona is a lie she told Frank early in their relationship that she can't really get out of now. I'm guessing Frank's family are fairly strongly religious in that way that first generation immigrants tend to be, and Frank is firmly indoctrinated in the tradition. Wu probably learned that Frank went to church every Sunday and immediately decided she was going to become a Christian again.
