What she is probably referring to is a similar pin in the game (that’s not the right one she has there) brainwashed people and all made them think the same thing. (She could be saying that since she has the black pin she is immune to the brainwashing but I don’t think she knows the game that well.)
So she’s probably trying to make a ‘brainwashed Republicans’ joke, but isn’t it the Left that is all controlling when it comes to thinking and speech?

I love it. A big story of the last two presidential elections were rich (((individuals))) from out out of state like the Koch brothers and Soros trying to influence elections. Not just the presidential election, but going all the way down to school boards. People who actually pay attention to politics fucking hate when some asshole who doesn't even live there tries to meddle in their business. Attracting out of state donors almost exclusively says a lot about a campaign. Is this the "fundraiser" that happens to coincide with the conference or whatever John wanted to go to?

It's common for politicians to do fundraisers out of state and out of district. Most politicians have a wide circle of friends: a buddy from college or law school will host a dinner party for them, and the politician will fly in for the evening to be guest of honor. 20 guests at $1000 a guest is worth the travel. These aren't publicized, public fundraisers: it's literally just rich people inviting their rich friends to meet a politician and donate some money to a shared cause, and there's a whole circuit of people who participate in this stuff. Running an election is criminally expensive and I'd be surprised if there are any Reps who haven't had plenty of out-of-state fundraisers.

What makes Wu a mess is that she does not have a wide circle of friends, she has not had a single in-district fundraiser, and she doesn't have the faintest clue what she's doing. She's blindfolded and throwing darts and hoping that some money comes up.

That's the difference. Anyone looking at his donor lists and fundraising efforts will see that it's almost all out of staters, the biggest often friends with her husband, and no district engagement. He's traveling across the country to beg for shekels and can't even be bothered to engage his voters.

Hooray! Five months and 6,000+ dollars later, she finally redesigned the barebones embarrassment of a NationBuilder website and coded an all new layout from scratch! Nice job Bri!

Lol just kidding, it's a prebuilt template with prices starting at $1,000. And knowing the godzilla of tech, she definitely didn't go with the "Do It Yourself" option.

It's also worth noting they have two different "themes", the normal one that encourages you to register an account for the website, or the theme that's "bit more aggressive on donations". Take a wild guess which one Brianna chose to use.

Did some research on the home they are having the fundraiser at, looks like it's owned by a very wealthy Seattle tech entrepreneur family:

Good lord. That just screams "I don't give a shit and I'm too poor to pay someone who does". When I've made graphic stuff volunteering for an animal shelter or whatever I look up a tutorial on how to make it look not like shit since I don't know much about shooping. As a last resort I autistically fix it pixel by pixel until it looks right so I don't show up with a pile of dogshit and make more work for someone else.
