Leaving aside the content of the ad: Who thought it was a good idea to make Frank the main character? Nobody knows who either of them are or what they're doing. And who ever heard of a candidate having a "co-host" on their own commercials?
They should have skipped the whole campaign thing and gone right to being Youtubers. They probably could have used Frank's connections to promote it in the usual places.

It's also important to stress that even if she was running in a district with a booming tech sector that Brianna would still come off as an out of touch imbecile. I mean, she gave an answer of nanomachines to a question regarding environmental issues like it's something that can be coming out in the next two years.

I personally feel like Frank sounded like he was going through puberty again with all the squeeking and squacking going on in this video.

Also, does anyone know whose voice that is at the end, "Paid for by Brianna Wu for Congress?" Is that the voice of Warren? Did they pay a voice actor $3,858 for one line of voice work and a blinky LED?

I mean I don't expect much from an ad like this. But good lord, it echoes like hell, the lighting is horrible, the mic is constantly in the red, Frank is mumbling all of his lines through his teeth, Brianna's glasses are so far down her nose, the top rim of is nearly covering her eyes... I could go on forever.

I like how John just pulls a number out of his ass to try to sound authoritative. It's telling that he said I bet it's a job you could do in four or five months, because he actually has no clue what is even involved never mind how long any part of it takes. He has no idea if he was wildly over, under, or even correct. In a way, I envy his devil-may-care attitude toward facts by just throwing a dart, quite obvious and publically, and then if anyone challenges his brazen fraud he'll double down. It's impressive in a perverse way.

It's astonishing to me that Wu pretends to be any sort of authority on game design when anyone with two functional brain cells to rub together could double check the abomination he "created". I genuinely don't know whether he thinks that the dogshit bad-for-PS1-even game he put out was actually good or if he's just playing a game like the rest of the scampaign and hoping no one pays any attention to the troon behind the curtain.

Also lol @ the idea of Wu adding Bratz dolls and static neon colours to beloved video game franchises as a hobby because it's dirt simple to open up an old fucking DOS-era game and just make it better that's why everyone does it.
