OK, I'm spoilering this whole post because it contains pictures of Wu... but if anyone has an understanding of human skeletal structure and can help understand, in the the immortal words of Mr. Plinkett, what's the matter with her face then maybe you might want to look.

I'm really trying to understand what the hell is up with Wu's face. It's just so bizarre and maybe it's just he extra fat she's packing on, but it seems like it's getting worse.

Here's the line of (not) symmetry through her face:

It seems like all her facial features to the right of her left eye have been somehow shifted rightwards, including the whole mandible structure. It also seems like her left ear is set distinctly lower than the right... somehow. I'm at a complete loss as to what could possibly cause this sort of thing.

You might be tempted to say botched surgery or HRT, but it seems like it was a feature of John's face pre-trannification.

Anyone got any clues as to what on earth could cause this kind of fuckup, it'd be interesting to me. Maybe the physiological problems are accompanied by some kind of mental impairment that explains Wu's odd behaviour.

When I see that droopy fucked up face my first thought is Bell's palsy. I know he's gone under the knife for cosmetic surgery, has any of it been facial work like bone shaving or a nose job? The fact he can't keep his glasses level, and hasn't for decades as evidenced by the second pic, only accentuates how off kilter everything is. Or maybe that's to try and balance it out because they're lower on the droopy end. You can even see how uneven the nosepads are. I honestly think it's a combination of things.

There's already perfectly good websites on which you can read the full text of every bill, every action that's been taken about it and its full history. Trying to shoehorn that in to Git would actually be vastly less convenient and would almost certainly involve the loss of important data. This is the sort of thing you'd only ever say if you were a some sort of wannabe trying desperately to pretend you're something you aren't.

The average age of a Member of the House at the beginning of the 114th Congress was 57 years old. Of senators, the average age was 61 years old.
She is implying that a room full of senior citizens is going to learn to run a communal Git repository for legislation most of them don't read in the first place.
This "proposal" would be 40 minutes of her trying to explain to bored, elderly men what a "Git" is and how it has to do with those electric boxes the kids like nowadays, followed by proposing that all of their dirty money and backroom deals be publicly aired with their permission.

And neither of the 2016 presidential candidates even use computers at all. (Trump has his phone, of course)

The irony of this whole thing is that Congress is already a version-control system.

A minor stroke, maybe? For some reason you bringing up half the face looking droopy and I'm reminded of Hayden Black (the guy behind the dead-on-arrival 'Gen Zed' show) who had a far more pronounced problem of that nature, alleged to be due to a stroke.

Or maybe it's just plastic surgery going bad because, y'know, Flu is over 40 years old and lives in a fucking dump of their own making.

It's probably tons of bad plastic surgery, the nerves don't enjoy any kind of exposure to air, so imagine how damaged they can be after slicing through them several times to achieve a look that screams, "autistic ghost"
 
I am leaning towards Wu's disturbing face shape being poorly maintained plastic surgery. We know that Brianna has had cosmetic surgery done and we all know how terrible he is about maintenance with everything else in his life, so I think it's as good an explanation as anything.

Not just poorly maintained, but it was poorly conceived and executed too. It's very obvious that he tried to go for the same "head notch" that all his cartoon characters have. He probably had to do a fair bit of doctor-shopping to find some enterprising and impecunious surgeon willing to attempt it.
 
One of the most remarkable things about Wu is that he not only has grody baby teeth but he also has something like a baby mouth where his chiclets are arranged as if they had to fit inside the mouth of a toddler, or sort of like how the Alien has a tiny mouth with teeth in his regular mouth but Wu only has the tiny mouth. It can be seen seen when he's talking or snarling and it's pretty disturbing. It's like someone hung a pair of dentures inside a rotting Jack-o-Lantern.

So her argument is that because defeatism and pessimism isn't productive, the solution is to charge headfirst into insane moonshots with no regard for practicality or risk?
Because we have those, and they're the reason things are such a mess.

We often like to lionize people who are willing to attempt things that seem impossible, but you have to remember that we like those stories because they're rare. The odd creator or inventor who succeeds against all odds is the exception to the rule. Most waste their entire lives chasing a big all-inclusive victory than never comes, as opposed to a series of small, concrete wins.

Say she does get elected to congress, just for argument's sake. Say her imaginary tech panel of genius feminists comes to be, and they start putting forth proposal after proposal.
If congress shoots it down over and over (and they would), and you keep trying?
That's not bravery, and you're not a hero. That's ego, and you're a self-important waste of time.

We don't need more "heroes" blindly standing by their vision of the future with no tolerance for compromise or settling. What we need are the dealers. People who are willing to accept half of what they want, because it isn't perfect, but it's better. We need someone who would choose an imperfect improvement over the shot at an impossible dream.

There are a million ways the money she's spent on trying to be Feminist Superwoman could've gone to create real, concrete changes that she'd support, but they don't end with her being the protagonist of it all, and because of that she won't participate.

Wu has never been successful at anything because she can't handle anything less than "all or nothing" and most of the time?
That means you end up with nothing.

I and others have noted in the past that Flynt/Wu's facial features are indicative of a number of chromosomal abnormalities that also manifest as various forms of impaired cognition and aberrant behavior that our subject also exhibits.
