Nah, I'm fairly confident he did nothing of the sort from what I saw today when passing by their house.
Not only does Wu park his Porsche on the curb, the tranny cycle is parked on the front walkway and doesn't have any plates.
All of which is PAINFULLY out of place for that part of town, and reveals just how ignorant and detached John is.
Another interesting tidbit is that there is no sign of the Audi or the Honda, so they might have been traded in, as a condition of Wu being allowed to order that new Porshe.
Also, an interesting fact is that the Wu's now hire a maid service to come and clean the house.
So yeah, @zedkissed60 was 100% correct with the new dox in January, and I love how thorough he can be.

Yes let's trade one entrenched energy system (fossil fuels) for another (nuclear materials). I would think decentralized local renewable energy production in concert with larger projects would be the ideal.

Hilarious. Now that the Audi is gone to some poor soul who doesn’t have a chance and the Honda was “given away to someone who needed it,” Brianna is still living like a red neck. But, the sort of red neck who just won some money and will spend it all on toys only to end up in debt again.

I'm probably the only one, but I wanted to see Wu crash this stupid campaign early at the first failure point. First, it's just another bullshit credential Wu is going to claim. That would be funny except nobody in the media at that level bothers doing any actual "journalism" anymore. Second, now other people might have to actually expend effort and money on this BS vanity show. I'd rather Wu be known as so bad a political candidate that he couldn't even pass the lowest bar.
...it's a primary, though. Against a veteran incumbent. Ain't no one letting Wu play in "internal politics" nor can he claim the party line unless he wins. I actually don't want Wu even in this position, because I would rather the dem party not be a laughingstock but it's tough to see any way forward unless Warren loses it and takes out the real candidates. And I have to hope there is a contingency for that involving the election of a toaster instead of Wu.

The Porsche and bike do look extremely out of place. John is a hood rich moron who’s collecting expensive toys for his “image” while renting out houses and having, as John put it in a tweet, 0.0 class. He’s trashy as fuck with his Ross/TJ Maxx dresses/boots and a $100k car. Corporate secrets, or more likely, I might have parked down the street and taken a walk by the house to get a better look, but didn't risk taking pictures at that point as it would have been TOO obvious.
Might have been forced to, I wouldn't be surprised if he was being forced to sell the bike as well, in exchange for that new Porsche.

But yet again Johnny demonstrates his complete lack of knowledge in the area. Or his willingness to spout bullshit. Probably both.
Introductory programming can be taught using any machine that can run a text editor and compiler. Schools already have those computers. They've had them for decades.
A "software engineer" should know that. A freshman comp-sci student would know that.
I'm sure Wu would love to see computer labs full of brand new Apple gear in every school. They'd make a great photo-op.
And they'd be as useless and dust covered as Wu's office.
How about finding time for students to take those classes, and teachers to teach them?
But no, like everything else, Wu's solution is to buy a bunch of expensive stuff.

Weed is already legal in Mass tho. Up to an ounce. There are already weed dispensers and even a “bring your own weed” lounge opening up. It’s not uncommon in the city to see people walking down the street smoking a blunt.
