For one, the Chernobyl reactor didn't even have a containment building. Like 13 people have died in the US at nuclear power plants and none due to radiation, most were either electrocuted or killed in some sort of non-nuclear explosion. France gets over 75% of its power from nuclear and has never had an accident. All the waste water is stored in the floor of one warehouse. Fearmongering jack offs like Frank are the reason we don't have breeder reactors and 4th generation reactors. Fukishima was a 2nd generation reactor built in the early 70s. Just read up on the Integral Fast Reactor as an example of what could be but won't because people in congress (and their mouth-breather husbands) are morons.

Is the average nuclear power plant even connected to the internet anyway, given they're decades old since retards have stopped new and advanced nuclear plants from being constructed? For such a tech focused candidate, you'd think the Wu crew wouldn't so blatantly oppose the safest and greenest energy.

Ya know I just realised that we have been missing the true "best case scenario" regarding this farce.

Its not "she loses and has a hilarious meltdown over it"

Its not "she wins and does hilariously dumb shit in congress while melting down over how little actual power she has"

Its the possibility that well connected idiots like wil wheaton go into overdrive shilling her campaign, and along with idiot journalists make her the "face" of the democrat 2018 mid-term campaign....and thus ensure the dems are utterly routed once ordinary people decide that giving power to the likes of a snarling greasy ghoulgeist is a bad idea. That way she not only tanks her own campaign and has a hilarious chimpout, she ends up causing countless more campaigns to tank and induce hilarious chimpouts.

I may be mistaken, but I think critical systems at nuclear power plants are isolated from the internet not due to age, but to... wait for it... prevent disasters caused via hacking.

It is kind of awkward to see Wu grandstanding about this rape issue when in some political circles, Wu could be considered a rapist because she chose not to inform her sexual partners that she was born a man before they had sex.

Wu never ceases to amaze with his ability to completely miss the point.

Benefits of legal cannabis:
- Tax revenue
- Jobs
- Medicine
- Accountability
- Law enforcement resources
- Civil liberties

His one page script mentions NONE of those, focuses on Trump, and still manages to embody the Democratic arrogance that put Trump in the white house. It's the opposite of an ad for legalization.

A broken clock is at least right twice a day. Wu is a clock that's running six hours behind.
