Yeah, Frank sounds like a total piece of fucking shit for how he treated his ex wives well after they divorced him and tried to get a far from him as possible. It's actually kind of good for them (the ex wives, both of whom sound like they are decent people Frank manipulated) that he ended up with a ghoulish tranny who puts up with his shit and is a drain on his salary more than a rational partner would be.

They're both horrible human beings and truly deserve one another. If in truth they make each other's lives miserable, then even better.

Quite frankly as much as I would love to see Bribri getting in the ballot just because I don't want this sureal story to end quite yet... I think it would be an even most hilarious outcome if it turns out she wasted all of this money for nothing and couldn't be on the ballot because of too few signatures.

Yeah "seeming like" seems like a curiously specific way to word it. If that person exists (obviously questionable) I'm curious to see what the finished product looks like.
 
Maybe Frank doesn't abuse Bri because she's over a foot taller than him and a fucking psycho? I don't know much about Frank's previous wives but I doubt they were over 6ft and born with male musculature.

From what I remember about the John Flynt college newspaper drama, Bri's not the type to accept no for an answer. Normal people don't end up with restraining orders.
 
I'm not the "Listen and Believe" type of person, but I strongly remember that when the accusations against Frank being an abuser came out, Frank completely lost it and could never keep his story straight. Every time he commented on Alison's posts, there was always inconsistencies and the story was never the same. Shocking from the Wu's, I know.

I have zero empathy for Frank, and I don't understand why people still continue to pity him. When I see shit like three dirty dogs locked in a tiny, cramped cage within a dark basement, that's not just Brianna's doing, Frank is equally at fault. In fact, I put the blame more to him because you would expect he would know better than Brianna, but nope. They're both equally insane assholes. I don't think Frank abuses Brianna or vice versa, they're both exceptionally selfish, narcissistic people who live for the attention.

A bit off-topic, but what exactly is Frank's relationship with his family these days? I remember a few months back Brianna tweeting about getting campaign ads in a Chinese newspaper Frank's family apparently work for. That, of course, never happened. We also have seen zero donations come in from any of the Wu family (I think one guy with the Wu name donated but was he ever confirmed to be Frank's relative?). I wonder if most of Frank's family cut contact when they were kicked out of their rent-free house awhile back. Brianna and Frank really have nobody but themselves.

The idea that Wu is "hiring new staff" must come as a bitter blow to poor old Warren who hasn't been paid since January.
I'm no expert, but as far as I can tell the average political campaign has a paid staff of maybe two people, often just one besides a few hired guns like accountants and political consultants. Wu is obsessed with seeming like a big shot, but doesn't seem to understand what a real campaign actually looks like.

While I really doubt it's true that Wu is actually hiring new people, even if she were there are about a million better things to be spending money on right now. She still hasn't had a single leaflet printed, still hasn't made any effort towards outreach except where the hook is "gib money pls", still hasn't made any effort towards formalising a platform she stands for.

A real congressional campaign would have a staff of at least three by now, with 1 possibly working part time.

I agree that the problem is that she has no idea what a real campaign looks like. My Facebook feed is just full of people running for office, and all their posts are basically the same, which I guess you can complain about them all following a script, but they all come across as professional and competent. Brianna only posts about her porsche and other random shit. Every other politician, even the ones running for town offices, have fliers and postcards printed up that they'll hand you when they talk to you.

And she was told all this. She met with people who gave her lists of what to do. She did a training program for women running for office as Democrats, and I've seen some of the handouts for that and it's very specific about what you're supposed to do. If she had followed directions, she probably would have had a real campaign. Why didn't she? It must be some sort of hubris where she thinks she's special and the rules don't apply to her. They're fine for pantsuit wearing establishment types, but she has a motorcycle! And nerf guns! And does her own social media! Nevermind that's the part-time paid job I mentioned above... there's a reason it's important enough a role to be one of the small number of paid employees.
 
Is doing all this by himself what he means by seeming like a real person? I could see a journalist relishing that kind of unfiltered access, but a real reporter would then use it to get at the truth, which is to say, flay him alive.

Probably. A real candidate would have a stump speech with a specific message she was trying to promote, based on some larger strategy plus a knowledge of her audience, and an aide sitting there to keep them on track. Wu probably spent the whole time rambling and her car and dogs and Gamergate and Nazis. "Real person" is probably code word for "this is like listing to uncle Fred ramble."

You're giving the parties a lot of credit. Anyone can register for a party and run under it. The only real check is getting signatures and that has nothing to do with the parties. Then it's up to the voters in the primary to pick the best person to represent the party. It seems likely that the district 8 voters will pick Lynch.

The only thing John has ever really wanted to be is Allison Holiday. Petty concerns such as "succeeding at what you're doing" are for other people.

I wasn't going to comment, but essentially.
Frank's former wife was supposedly like 20 years his junior. That's an extremely unbalanced power dynamic, and a very scary thing to be in, I'm sure.
The kind of guy who will knock around his terrified, cowering wife is not the same guy who will swing on a shaved Sasquatch in a frumpy black dress. John Flynt had a history of explosive and troubling behavior long before Frank married him, and age appears to have done little to dull that edge.

To be completely honest, my two cents on Frank are pretty straightforward:
Frank is an aging, short, fairly unattractive Asian man with a string of abuse allegations behind him and a dwindling fortune. A silver fox he fucking ain't. His options aren't exactly unlimited at this point in time.
He indulges Brianna to the best of his abilities, and she dotes on him (in her way), because both are aware of the blinding reality that they are all that is left for each other.

There's no busty gamer chick in Frank's future, and he fucking knows it. Even Bri knows on some level that the likelihood of ever finding another sugar daddy who will indulge her every whim is nonexistent. Neither of them is terribly desirable in any sense, and they're getting old.

To put it simply?
Bri isn't abusing Frank and Frank isn't abusing Bri. Neither party is getting fucked over here. They are together because they're two shitheads who have found the absolute only other person on earth willing to tolerate them, and so they've settled for the only option left.

This isn't love. This is a classic case of "I'm rich, you're breathing, neither of us is getting younger or hotter, so fuck it".
