Perhaps the deal with Frank is that he knows Brianna will never leave him and that’s enough for him. Maybe his abusive side is one that can’t handle having a wife who succeeds at more than he does, and who might in his mind leave him one day. Maybe that’s his trigger. He likes being the hero. The knight. I don’t think he abuses Brianna. I don’t think she is in danger of ever hitting his triggers.

Frank is a child and Brianna is pretty much the wacky invisible friend that he created.

I think the sums part of it up pretty nicely. I’ve theorized before that Frank is as mentally ill as Brianna. In his case, part of him was stunted when he was 12 (the year Brianna was born!) he was the last person to see his sister alive. She’d been warned by lifeguards to get out of the water. She couldn’t swim. She drowned. He must have some lingering guilt. Add to this that he was a pubescent boy going through lots of chemical changes, and you have the makings for lifelong neuroses.

I think another reason Frank doesn't throttle Bri the same way he did his ex is the fact that Brianna obsessively seeks to be in the limelight and she will say or do anything that will get the crowd's attention. Frank probably knows this, and he realizes that Bri would throw him to the hounds without a second thought if he were to let his true colors come out too often around her. I think Frank is definitely the one in control between the too, but Brianna is too stupid the realize this and too incompetent to pose a threat to him so he's usually happy to play along with her.

Every once in a while you'll run across videos of guys having their testicles being pierced by women in stilettos or the Mr Hands video (you know just normal stuff you come across on the internet) and while you're watching a man's colon be ruptured by 3 feet of rigid horsecock, just think about Frank and remember that there's worse fetishes to be stuck with.

Uh oh! Get the chew toys ready because I'm not sure the dogs are ready for a new basement playmate yet, John.

"Canidates" should also learn how to spellcheck their shit before they blow their load all over the screen.

Just like that blog you were going to write about your opponent? You’re all empty words and no action, John.

So why didn't Wu just pay the signature gatherers from the start instead of wasting all the money and time on Warren?
He never had the money, these firms don’t work for free. He wasted money on the dumbest shit.

John/Brianna chose to blow campaign funds on camera equipment, an empty office he never used (there were no pictures there, all pictures are from his rental houses), pot belly, trips to his speaking events (that he wasn’t paid to attend), alt-con during wwdc, to pick up the first Porsche, and Warren.

What they did is not cheap either, and Christopher Voehl apparently paid over 7,000 dollars, chump change in Wu Land.

Honestly, you guys seem to try to ascribe the most machiavellian motives to a man who goes ridiculously out of his way to prop up Brianna's aspirations. He puts in way more effort than Brianna herself does to try to help Brianna achieve what she claims to want to achieve. He always seems to me, far from being a controlling manipulator, rather pathetically naive in not seeing the reality that BriBri is incapable of achieving her stated goals even with his help and that some tough love might be better than constantly trying to prop her up.

I believe Brianna lies to Frank just as much as she lies to everyone else in her life. I've seen hints that Frank believed things about her earlier in their relationship that he now knows not to be true, and it doesn't seem to affected their relationship. In other words, it seems like Frank is a bit of a doormat. Brianna gets everything she wants, including ridiculously expensive sports cars when they don't even own a house. Nothing about this adds up to Frank being the dominant personality.

I agree. I think there's more of a King Edward/Wallis Simpson thing going on. Nobody else understands it, or wants to, but Brianna gets Frank's rocks off and that's all he needs. It doesn't discount any cruelty to previous wives if he's not abusive to Brianna. He seems like much more of an enabler with her.

If the going rate is $2/signature as our field agents have said, that sounds about right for outsourcing the entire signature process with enough margin of error to survive validation.
John already had like 1000 signatures from Warren (supposedly), so he probably just bought another 1000 and proclaimed himself done.

Yes Brianna John is a real human being and not at all a pathological liar.

The state of journalism today, jfc.
Assuming it happened the way he says, yeah. It's :horrifying: that it's even plausible.

Imagine if Wu only bought enough signatures to finish the job Warren started, and enough of them are successfully challenged to throw her off the ballot. Strangely plausible course of events.
