While Frank was tweeting out how donations have reinvigorated the campaign, John was out test driving a Porsche.

Also John's new word of the day on Planet 9 forums is 'cheap'. Anything he doesn't like he labels as 'cheap'. It lets all the orthodontists and c-suite execs who normally drop $100,000 on a two-seater sports car that John is one of them.

It’s illegal to spend campaign funds on personal items or pay “salaries” after the election is over and John has lost. However, there’s zero oversight and recently several high profile politicians were caught paying out thousands to their families after the election was over from their campaign funds and they had won/lost.

You can be damn sure this last push for funds is to pad their bank account to pay Frank a salary due to the losses they suffered from Rev60. That’s probably one of the main reasons John got into this, he saw the same story that broke and thought “an easy scam”.

But Rev60 cost six figures (@GethN7 did the math, IIRC he estimates the total cost at around half a million dollars). If it's true that the payments to Frank are only reimbursements for purchases and not for his time/consultancy, any salary he gets from leftover funds will be a drop in that bucket.

If John really wanted to get easy money, it'd make more sense to use the "bait the Internet, then ree about it" approach again so he could m.ilk the pitybux/Patreonbux/speakers' fees.

EDIT: These tweets were too dumb not to critique

None of what John says here makes any sense:

(1) Most Americans work for private companies that aren't legally obligated to give employees federal holidays off. John either hasn't done his research, or he's very concerned about maximizing his own vacation time if he gets elected.

(2) 37 states allow early voting on-demand, and the other 13 allow you to vote early if there's a legitimate mitigating circumstance. Why do we need a whole day off when there's already a workaround that (from what I can tell) works perfectly fine?

(3) All federal and most state elections are in even numbered years-would we get the day off in 2019, 2021, etc. for no reason? What about primary, special, and local elections (which happen at different times year-round)? I could see any or all of these approaches resulting in tons of confusion.

(4) I get that President's Day is Feb. 7th, but $27 is a large amount of money and soliciting it like 2 months after the fact completely undercuts the request.

It's not worth it for anyone involved to embezzle a measly $5000 or so after all this. If Frank really wanted an extra $5000, there are easier ways to get it, like telling John to buy an ordinary new Porsche instead of a specially customized one.

EDIT: and also, remember that Frank is the treasurer of Wu For God-Emperor, so any irregularities fall directly on his head. When they forgot to file their paperwork, it was Frank who had to write the groveling apology to the FEC.

Did John pay to promote that tweet or something?
How come its got 17k likes compared to his usual double digits?

Because it's the sort of tweet that people can read in three seconds, say "that's a good idea" and click like on without thinking. It's actually a very good, well-written tweet for someone who's goal is to be vanilla, left-centrist talking head. No bots required.

Can only see a couple of hundred maybe, also its got another 4k since Peace posted. Hmmmmmm.

Flynt showing absolutely know fucking knowledge about holidays now, because Presidents Day is supposed to celebrate Washington's and Lincoln's birthdays. And Lincoln was not a founding father, he kind of was born, what, several decades after all the founding fathers were dead? That and there otherwise isn't a day off in February.

And making election day a holiday? Way to fuck over everybody who has to work the polls you mongolid. Additionally, we already get Thanksgiving as a national holiday, though you wouldn't fucking know the significance since the only family you have who acknowledges you even exist is Frank.

Like anyone in Massachusetts is going to give up their ski holiday for a random day in November. Too late for the beach, too early to go skiing.

She probably heard somewhere that requesting $27 gets people to donate $25. Ask for more and they donate less or ignore?

Or, she’s just an idiot.

The $27 donation was Bernie's thing. She copied it from him.

I'm on Brianna's side over alcantara. It's suedette under another brand name. There's no way I'd choose alcantara over leather and most of the big car YouTubers I've watched think the same.

But in John's case, leather seats are significantly heavier than the alcantara, and seats are somewhat up into the car raising the center of gravity, which is literally the opposite of what you want when you are cornering, which is why Porsche spends money so much on even tiny weight reductions in higher-level models.

Porsche brand that's known for (in Europe at least) not even providing radios or AC for real life dedicated performance enthuiasts (as opposed to online enthusiasts.) And Automobile for example, in the GT3, recommended against leather seats, and putting your money towards performance brakes instead of leather seats, and if you can, getting some lighterweight 1-piece recarros to reduce weight. Also leather seats are hot in the summer and cold in the winter compared to anything else, which is why in most of the rest of the world, they are options even on high priced sporty-luxury cars, much less sports cars; they aren't objectively better.

Spending extra money to make your car perform marginally worse in search of the perception of luxury is about the least gearhead thing you can do. But for Brianna, sportiness or any other characteristic she gives herself just means throwing Franks money at something, not even the slightest sacrifice on her part. Instead, what she actually worries about in a Porsche is apple i-play and expensive-feeling cupholders.

But to summerize TheLastPsychiatrist, for narcissists, perception is always the priority, the real-world is just a side issue. If Brianna can't even be authentic about (in his case) sports car fan sperging, when even the OPL can fanboy legitimately, can he be authentic about anything at all?
