There's a bit of irony in saying we need to support people becoming trans while simultaneously pointing out that they kill themselves constantly.

Reminds me of the people who talk about sending more women to college while simultaneously talking about how college girls are being raped left and right.

Like if you really believed that every trans person knows double-digit trans friends who have killed themselves, you'd want less people to be trans.

We should probably try to cure them so they don't constantly commit suicide. Wouldn't that be more merciful than treating their insanity like it's normal?

Obviously, if a condition causes you to commit suicide, this isn't a good thing. Why shouldn't we cure these poor people?

We've already seen immigration judges allow toxic waste into the country in the case of El Niño and Grendel, is radioactive material such a big step? No amount of judges will keep dirty bombs from crossing our borders, unless Brianna is proposing to hire Judge Dredd.

If someones watched a lot of 24 while listening to Tom Clancy audiobooks it might be hard to remember which plot points they're supposed to disagree with(evil!) and which popular fiction trope terrifies them(good??) but they still feel the need to take a strong public stance on... who cares, just let them hotdogs dance on the phone until a tweet comes out and if people get mad just delete it and write something else.
 
I suppose Frank should be thankful that Brianna either decided that the $100 Infinity Gauntlet was good enough or he's unaware of the $900 replica out there.

Perez Hilton, a gay man, said he doesn’t want his son to be gay because his life will be harder. He also said he would love his son if he’s gay or trans. He IS a bully and I’m not defending him, but this hot take is luke warm at best.

Meanwhile, Brianna posted hateful things on her own live journal about -

- Gay men (“competition for penis”)
- drag queens (basically calling them clowns)
- women (commentary on weakness and cattiness of the sex)
- fat women

In real life, she slurred a lesbian to her face.

Normal humans with pasts like Brianna’s would stay mum on people like Hilton. The pot-kettle scenario here would be enough to embarrass them into silence.

But why only the tech industry? Okay she talked to someone who told her that there's hiring bias against people with special needs. Probably true. A real politician would say although we already have laws about it, we need to figure out a way to incentivize hiring people, or some other actual idea to solve the problem. She just calls out the "tech industry" and only the tech industry to hire people with special needs.

It's like she has a bet with herself to use the phrases "tech industry" "growing up in Mississippi" or "as an engineer" at least once a day, whether they fit or not.
