By the way, I've been working on a project in C, not C++, because that's what the damn thing is written in, and interfacing it with NodeJS. Astonishingly the age of the languages really has no bearing on how these things interact.

My university was teaching C into the early 2000s. OO was Java but it didn't fully jump on the Java train until like 2003.

So we've covered how Wu projects a lot/makes things up. I'm curious as to why they'd write this. I mean, I spent many years in the southeast, and people are more confused if the wife doesn't share the same name as the husband than in something like this. (Also the dude's tweet is VERY misleading, it makes it sound like he was thrown in prison because he didn't make his wife share his last name). Is Wu projecting, or did they see something in the news from like 30 years ago or something?

In the area I was in, there's still prejudice against blacks, though it's more of a classist one than racist as it occurs with whites with lower incomes as well. They'd be more likely to have that reaction if Wu had a last name that was a "black" last name, not an Asian one (though admittedly I can't recall any "black" last names, as usually those kinds of names are first names), and it STILL wouldn't have turned out like that. Jeez, Wu, git gud at making up stories.

I don't think it's a coincidence that Bri hasn't begged for donations in months and then finally starts doing so after Frank's tweet on International Women's Day asking his 3 followers to donate. Anytime you see Brianna link her donation website, it's Frank's doing.

Actually, this made me curious so I looked it up. From December to March, in that three month time span, she only linked her donation website once and that was in a reply tweet. After Frank's "I humbly suggest you donate to Brianna's campaign" tweet, she linked it twelve times since then (in a little over two weeks to now).

To be fair, the site didn't actually work for a decent period of that time - but that also kind of just proves the point you're making.

I note he's talking about repeatedly getting thrown out of grocery stores and gas stations. If you're on a business property and you have no intention of doing business there, you're trespassing and they can call the cops on you. He's breaking the law. Almost all grocery stores have a "no soliciting" sign on the front, too, so it'd be criminal trespass. It probably wouldn't be prosecuted with more than a fine unless he went all Chris-Chan, but it doesn't say anything good about John's campaign that his only campaign personnel openly flouts the law.
