I will say that this illustrates exactly why you should never vote for Wu. She's exhibiting all the tendencies of a micromanager. Do you really want a politician who is going to go to IT contractors and, insisting she knows more than they do, tell them they must implement code signing, two factor authentication, salting and hashing or whatever other buzzword she's heard this week? Leadership shouldn't really concern itself with the how, except where it comes to scheduling and budgeting. A good leader has presumably caused people expert in the how aspects of a question to be hired and given enough liberty to do that aspect of the question justice. You expect a leader to be able to identify important questions, determine if they're sensibly soluble without entirely changing the frame of reference and consult relevant experts on the best approach to the solution, then provide the drive and red tape cutting needed to get the solution delivered.

I don't think Wu really understand the difference between organising a project with 3 people on it and leading a company or country.
