Anyone can declare themselves a candidate but you need to get signatures to get on the ballot. So yes she's still a candidate technically and legally, but once she fails to get the 2000 signatures she needs by May, not anymore. Unless she tries to orchestrate a write-in campaign (you can always write in a name at the bottom of any ballot), and those are impossible and rarely happen. But by then she'll have lost interest.

Only in the sense that pretty much everyone can declare themselves to be a "candidate."

John will never appear on any ballot, though, because his efforts toward his candidacy have been utterly pathetic, and unless the psychotic dude who is the only apparent campaign volunteer gets enough signatures, John will never appear on a ballot that voters will use.

You can tell he’s tiring of putting in effort while Brianna does nothing. Any thoughts on why he’s bothering with this? The scampaign bucks can’t be worth it. They’re barely getting any donations now.

Isn't it obvious? To him, it isn't a scam. He doesn't make the connection that Wu is play acting, he still thinks she's serious.

He's bought in to the line that Wu is selling, that this is what she's always wanted to do. Never mind that being a game developer was all she ever wanted to do last week. He's honestly trying to help out her floundering campaign, while BriBri herself is inwardly hoping that it's over in the next couple of months so she doesn't have to actually do anything more. She can't exactly tell him not to bother, but she's making no effort herself to forward her campaign.

Well, if Frank is the control freak @Jaimas has repeatedly suggested he is, maybe he sees himself as the power behind the throne, pulling Brianna's strings and getting legislation passed favored by his oddball buddies.

He does not seem to have considered that Brianna is a laughable mess who makes the latter day Habsburgs look like Victoria's Secret models.
 
I don't know if this is new, but my fan theory is that the snarl is actually Brianna's default facial expression. The reason he always has that extremely unnatural pursed-lip look on his face is that he's constantly straining his facial muscles to keep his mouth closed. Humor and unexpected comments tend to catch him off guard and he loses his concentration, causing his muscles to relax and return to the snarling position.

I always thought it was because he talked so much shit his mouth was trying to become an arsehole
 
Thank you Brianna for explaining this completely new and revolutionary feature that hasn't existed for years. The issue with parental controls is that literally every 4 year old on the planet already has the knowledge on how to operate an iPad and can simply Google how to turn them off. And it doesn't stop them from just watching gameplay videos or finding the same content online. Perhaps the real solution is to just... monitor your children?

My guess is he's owed more money from the campaign. Just like when Frank was the sole reason Rev 60 PC was released, any griftbux John gets represents money Frank isn't being fucked out of, and suddenly Frank's the only one doing any work.
 
heck rate me dumb if you like but I just feel sorry for BW now. Having her tics and strange speaking style shown in big screen hi def like that.

It’s got to be a seriously codependent relationship. He’s known Brianna for almost a decade. Eventually you have to accept herb someone is scamming you.

Given how poorly the Wus treat their dogs, I think that's for the best.

Though given my prior research into Flu's past when we were compiling data on them, they'd written a really bizarre piece about wanting to be pregnant (it was like an even more "exceptional" version of Other M if you know what I mean). I think the whole "Natalie O'Brien has been pregnant for several years now" thing stems from projection onto a non-existent entity.

Interesting. Now that you mention it, I’m surprised Brianna never faked a pregnancy in order to steal a baby like you might see on a Lifetime movie. Then again, kids are work and we all know Brianna is deathly allergic to that.
