Unless Frank's been hiding lots of gold bars or bitcoins under his bed, buying this Porsche would mean cleaning out his retirement fund or selling off his stake in his employer. That seems unlikely, given that he's not as whipped as popular imagination has it.

I mentioned this like 100 pages ago but even someone with Frank's salary can't keep up with his husband's reckless spending habits forever.

Well, we all know how Wu loves "restoring" old sports cars as a hobby. This will make a total of TWO that she has bought, let depreciate and then leave rusting in the yard. C-C-C-CREDIT BREAKER! If Frank was as cruel as his ex-wife claims, he'd find a way to not share liability and have Brianna sign the papers for the car, then give her the money to pay for it each month. In the case of divorce all that is Brianna would instantly self-destruct and he would only continue to live for the day his parents die so he can get some of that sweet inheritance he's entitled to.


Or maybe that's all bullshit, but there's absolutely a lot of credit and loans taken out for things that quickly depreciates in value and no loans for things that can appreciate in value(like a house). Everyone should keep an eye out for the Cayman in used car listings to see if they try to dump it quickly or if they expect to get what they bought it for(or more).

Hopefully any potential mark will run a Carfax report on the Cayman.
 
So the used Porsche wasn't good enough for John apparently. By the time his new car is delivered he will already be looking at a GT2. He won't be happy until he has the most expensive car Porsche currently makes.
