One aspect of the entire dust up that Wu conveniently leaves out is: where are all the #metoo stories from this debauched time at Atari? I'm sure inappropriate behavior occurred because money, men, and tech and that's how the world works -- but where are all the horror stories? Hardly seems like a hill to die on. Well, that's at least good to hear. I knew that Bri was just one of many voices, but it sorta concerned me that a bunch of people running diarrhea of the mouth over a guy with likely less than true claims would impact him getting the award. Glad the GDC is waiting until later, so instead of kowtowing to them they're just avoiding a sort of PR debacle.

The first couple articles written were a result of Wu's twitter screeching, then it snowballed. I took me all of three minutes to pirate the book from libgen and discover his blatant misrepresentations, yet sites like Engadget and The Verge still have Wu's tweets in their articles.
