That was from the radio broadcast last year where Brianna told the interviewer that the biggest issue facing District 8 was that the schools don’t have the latest and greatest computers.

It's nice that people in the district are becoming aware of who Wu is, and quickly coming to the conclusion she's full of shit.
It makes a refreshing change from years of Wu getting a free pass on her lies because they're lies in a "good cause."

Heh, just took a look at that Wikipedia page for Wu, and it's reading more and more like truth and somewhat less like propaganda.

The talk page is still filled with dumbasses who want to whitewash history, but that Wikipedia page makes Wu look more like the shrieking moron they actually are.

I know I'm a bit :late: on this but I've given it some thought (more than it deserved, if I'm going to be honest), and I've come to the conclusion that if Wuwu's snarling isn't actually a facial tic and is, in fact, done completely voluntary, it may well be an attempt to look "fierce". Given the whole image of some motorbike-riding, tech-knowing, political-outgroup-fighting, Twitter-snarking cool person Wu's attempting to cultivate, it makes sense. To me, at least. But then, I'm dumb as a fuckin' brick so I dunno.

I didn't like that show, still need to watch the last few episodes. It just feels like the plot moves at a snails pace.
However, there isn't a single thing in that show I would be interpreted as 'feminist', by SJW standards.
The show just happens to have a strong female protagonist who has flaws.

You can't even claim it's a self-defense weapon, the flame (from what I've seen) is about a couple feet most.

If John were my congressional candidate in my district, I'd be severely worried he wants tide pods banned, yet wants to buy a flamethrower that has no use other than fucking about with it.

You know, Boring Company is owned by Elon Musk, who has been previously reported by Wu as being a criminal mastermind. I wonder if Wu has considered the role that flamethrower sales is going to have in Elon's plan to "drop rocks from the moon to the Earth with the power of 100's of nuclear bombs" via another of his companies, namely SpaceX...

Or maybe this is just another instance of Wu commenting about something that she knows absolutely nothing about, but thinks that it sounds cool?

Man sometimes I seriously think the reason Wu is such a complete whacked out mess is because she somehow exists in some sort of interdimensional rift where all the different versions of herself from all of the infinite timelines are taking over her body at random intervals and they're all pretty much rolling with everything the current Brianna is doing while letting their own personalities seep through. Like gamedev Wu is from a reality where John spent his post college years locked in his parent's basement playing video games and his massive ego made him think he was a master of everything relating to games, gear head Wu is John from a reality where his parents kicked him out after being such a massive blight on their lives and he was forced to take up a job as an underskilled mechanic who never learned shit about cars due to his Dunning Kruger syndrome making him think he's already an expert, etc.

Due to being exposed so much quantum fuckery for so long, Frank's face has been permanently frozen in a neverending scream of horror from seeing thousands of different realities that all confirm that the 7 foot tall money hemorrhaging tranny he's bound himself to for the rest of his life is incapable of any form of success in anything ever.
