A while ago, Wu posted this campaign logo as a joke:

I get that it's supposed to look like the Aliens logo, but my first guess was that the I was meant as a poorly constructed vaginal opening
Well, Wu does look like an alien.

Guys, guys, guys. You don't get it. Brianna won't be personally responsible for any of that. She'll be in charge of dragging CEOs before commissions to grill them on their perceived shortcomings, telling them to do better, and ordering other people to do what she wants done. If something goes wrong with American cyber security, she'll know just the right person to blame and exactly what they did wrong. Brianna's an armchair general who likes to think she gets her hands dirty.

Wait, then why would anyone vote for her? We already elected Trump to do that, and he already had experience doing that on reality TV.

It's also weird and twiggy like Brianna.

Something something progress something something republicans. I'm a woman. Vote for me.

As we all know, john never exaggerates.
I've only seen highlights of the Tucker show and mostly just know him for his Tucker face, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let him burn a cross on TV or explain how Jews run the banks. Maybe I missed that episode.

So one of the things that annoys me about Wu is that he assumes if he gets elected he's going to automatically get on the "tech committee", despite the fact he has almost zero say on that and will probably be put on a d-list committee until he can get consistently reelected.

First off the "tech committee" is actually called the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. As far as I can tell, it doesn't have the power to do any of the things Wu thinks it can do. Here's what the Science Committee is actually charged with doing:
The Committee on Science, Space, and Technology has jurisdiction over all energy research, development, and demonstration, and projects therefor, and all federally owned or operated non-military energy laboratories; astronautical research and development, including resources, personnel, equipment, and facilities; civil aviation research and development; environmental research and development; marine research; commercial application of energy technology; National Institute of Standards and Technology, standardization of weights and measures and the metric system; National Aeronautics and Space Administration; National Science Foundation; National Weather Service; outer space, including exploration and control thereof; science scholarships; scientific research, development, and demonstration, and projects therefor. The Committee on Science, Space, and Technology shall review and study on a continuing basis laws, programs, and Government activities relating to non-military research and development.
I can just see Wu trying to sit through a committee meeting about the standardization of weights and measures or civil aviation. Even when looking through what the Subcommittee on Research and Technology is charged with, I don't think even they can do what Wu thinks the "tech committee" does. Most of the "cyber security" shit Wu talks about would probably fall under the jurisdiction of the Intelligence or Homeland Security Committees, and good luck getting in those as a fucking junior congress(wu)man.

My favorite Brianna is "steal Anita's Law and Order valor" Brianna. "Moonrocks" Brianna. "Fake candidate" Brianna. A sorta Michael Scott/Peggy Hill clueless/self important/ultimately harmless character.
She has literally said and done things both Michael Scott and Peggy Hill have said and done so yeah that's apt

A man who repeatedly falls for pathetic phishing scams, and even posts about his own stupidity publicly, is talking about cybersecurity.

So one of the things that annoys me about Wu is that he assumes if he gets elected he's going to automatically get on the "tech committee", despite the fact he has almost zero say on that and will probably be put on a d-list committee until he can get consistently reelected.

That is a prestigious committee assignment and goes to people like Ed Markey (before he moved to the Senate), not some deranged screeching tranny with no qualifications whatsoever.

Even for a “politician” Wu seems a bit to prone to go straight for the lie. I mean my Bullshit Meter went to 11 with “had a voter ask me...” I’m sorry but no voter has ever asked John anything beyond “who the fuck are you? Why are you here?” And most importantly “ please leave?”

John doesn't even leave his house.

Other than screamface, the only living things he talks to are those filthy, semi-feral dogs.

To say that Wu has wasted his and everyone else's time is an understatement. It's going to be interesting to see what the other potential contender to Lynch (Christopher Voehl) manages to do with significantly less time and coverage than what Brianna has been gifted by idealogues.

I thought John might get support in the low single digits from the usual disgruntled primary voters who will vote for anything that isn't the incumbent, but this guy is probably going to suck up even that.

My bet is John gets a couple dozen votes at most and that's if he even gets media coverage as a joke candidate.

..aaand fixed.

I'm sure you'll be receiving a tweet thanks shortly

Do you think Frank makes his chinky scream face while he's reading this thread?

House Administration committee.

If a god I believe in who isn't short on cash decided to curse America for whatever reason, that's where John would be going once he's sworn in and given the next to the boiler basement office.

But he's not winning shit except lolcow of the year so it's all how many angels on the head of a pin style thought experiments actually. The real action is guessing which cosplay reigns supreme in December going forward.

If the world goes crazy enough for John to get elected, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him assigned to a prestigious committee. The degree of reality distortion required for the one thing to happen could easily cause the other.

There is a commenting feature on her new website and it's un-moderated. Godzilla of Tech never ceases to amaze!

Edit: She is probably keeping an eye on it as an individual named John Flynt congratulated her on her campaign and it was removed not long after.

"She fought the Alt-Right and Won - now she's fighting for you.

Brianna Wu rose to national prominence in 2014 as one of the primary targets of the Alt-Right during Gamergate. She stood up to threats of violence so extreme, two television shows were based of the events, as well as years of intense media coverage. Now, she's bringing that integrity to the US Congress."

I'm seeing this for the first time. It's cringy as hell, knowing who he is.

As an uninitiated and undecided voter, however, it'd tell me absolutely nothing about that candidate, as there's no other info about him on there. Furthermore, the Alt-Right is still "at large", according to my TV-news. So he seemingly didn't win shit. And while he may have stood up to "threats of violence", what does that have to do with integrity? Bravery, maybe, but integrity?

This is dumb. You're dumb, John.
