CNN might have failed to ask the hard hitting questions... but that opening image. I have no words.

It's hard to tell since she repeats the same shit over and over in each interview. You can only really tell if it's new footage by how fat and bald she is.
The person who picked the still images they used for Wu either has a sense of humor or there is no flattering images of Wu in existence. Which is odd since on multiple occasions Wu has had professional photo shoots. Couldn't make it one minute into the segment before laughing.

Those problem glasses are doing nothing to help John's appearance. I get he has to dress the part being a super feminist/SJW, but for fucks sake dump those granny glasses.

2 - 3 per day?

Has John show his face in public even once under the auspices of an actual campaign event? By that I mean one which voters in his district could find out about ahead of time and actually go to?

The Star Wars screening is pretty much the only event she's publicized.

If you look at the twitter feeds of the two guys who also spoke at the Braintree Democrats meeting, their twitter feeds are absolutely full of pictures of them meeting with people. The same with Stephen Lynch. The only two photos I can remember of Wu during her "campaign trail" are the Braintree Democrats meeting and one taken when she was at the seminar for Dems who were running for public office for the first time.

I can understand why Wu doesn't want many pics, she looks fucking hideous and barely human, but there's the weird contradiction where she refuses to have any pictures taken normally while at the same time appearing on CNN and RT. My guess is that as bad as Wu looks during these interviews, she looks many times worse without having pro make up artists to help her out.

The part continues its march to the middle in the losing effort to conceal the effects of male pattern baldness at the temples.

Dean Takahashi.....fitting he'd puff piece Wu, since he's also a pretentious hack who fucks up simple video games and throws a tantrum over being called out.

What in the actual fuck. Wu has only the most peripheral connection to the game industry for having her husband finance her vanity game. What possible value can inviting Wu to a games themed business conference bring? She has never achieved one iota of success in any of her ventures.

Is this all it takes to be a recognised name? Just spend money like it's going out of fashion? She looks repulsive, doesn't prepare her talks, is generally a waste of space, but somehow she still gets invited to things. I'm speechless.

I really hope losing the primary in a landslide puts the capstone on Wu's grave, because I think I'll lose my last shred of faith in humanity if Wu fails yet again and still manages to be any sort of public figure.

I guess John is doing all his campaign stops in the Porsche. That'll really resonate with Boston's working class.

The fancy car thing isn't as much of an attack point politically as folks often think.

I remember during the Crewe and Nantwich byelection a few years back Labour and a few of their friendly outlets tried to attack a campaign team who were door knocking and leafleting in an old Bentley.

A car built in the very constituency they were working in and one the owner chose to bring (from his own modest collection) for that specific purpose, to show off that the Tories supported the local car industry by actually buying the cars and thus giving the people there some jobs.

It worked beautifully as it made Labour look like they were attacking the very foundations of the city itself. :story:

Wu however drives/attempts to drive not one but two foreign built grot-boxes while simultaneously campaigning hard for "mo jobs" for Americans. Which is hilarious. If she cares so much about jobs, why buy foreign?

"I've spent a career building credibility" Fucking what? :story:

This may be the most preposterous falsehood she's spouted ever. What career? What credibility, and while we're at it, what has she built? The only thing she going to have built by the end of this little adventure into politics is crippling debt.

The irony to the last part of this tweet is actually really enjoyable, because I'm pretty sure that's what Mr. and Mrs. Flynt were thinking today when they saw their adopted child on CNN.

I got one for you.

Do you think they have like a little memorial because ole Jawn went missing on the road to his aunt's house in California according to the Flynts? That he died and they have this little memorial on the mantle piece and they still hold out "hope" that one day he will be found? Or at least find his remains for a funeral?

where does Wu claim to have trained as a journalist?
John is clever enough to never give specifics until pressed and, even then, he'll try to talk around it. Early on in this farce, he'd tout his "political experience" until some local newsperson asked him what it was on camera and he had to admit it was just an internship (with a crazy racist).

Wu's narcissism and desire for attention overrides his insecurities when it comes to interviews and public appearances. He knows he looks like shit after years of people all over the Internet pointing out that he looks like the Toxic Avenger's gay cousin but he can't resist the opportunity to talk about how great he is on TV.

Wait why does WU need a 4k navigation system? I'm positive that the iphone can give you directions to everywhere you would need to go correct? i have never owned a iphone so not sure if it works as well as google maps but im still gonna lol at spending 4k to get directions.

Of course the first few minutes are dedicated to explaining what gamergate was just so the audience should know why they should even give a shit about this twitchy mongoloid.

And it's always so odd to me that Wu is always insists on being introduced as a game developer, and yet she never even makes an attempt to discuss her own game or any games she plans on creating. Usually whenever I see an interview with an actual game dev the second they get to discuss their own work they light up and they go into great detail about everything they've had to do to get their games out there and they lovingly comment on everything they enjoy about the game. They're usually so passionate about their work that they adore getting a chance to discuss it with someone, but I've noticed Wu hasn't really made any mention of R60 since she released it. Yeah I know it bombed harder than the reactors at Chernobyl, but even still most devs I've seen will usually agree that their game didn't turn out how they planned but they still hold some slight fondness for it. The only time a dev will usually avoid talking about one of their games is usually because a third party requested that they make it, and they know from the get go that it's not gonna be good, but this is Brianna's own game that was completely under her control that was made to her exact specifications. The fact that R60 failed as soon as it released and Wu is going out of her way to ignore it to the point where she won't even address the bug that makes her game literally unbeatable just shows why she'll never be a big name developer, her heart just isn't in it. She has absolutely no passion for the work that she's spent the last 4 years obsessively branding herself with, and its shit like this that makes me think gamergate, the autistic dumpster fire that it was, actually had some semblance of truth to their cause.

You just hit exactly why all of the discussed weenery involving John's characters would fall flat - Brianna himself doesn't give a shit about the characters. SocCon, Election Eve, Revolution 60, all of those were made for the purpose of trying to make John a star. He so badly wanted one of these to succeed because then it would make him a success and he could then hand it off to someone else to do all the real work while he gets have all the fun of interviews, con appearances, and whatever as the creator of some huge multimedia franchise. The failure of Revolution 60 with all of his extra attention, the friends in the press he has, and almost complete control over his narrative taught John that his characters aren't going to make him the next Oprah like he dreams of being. Instead, he's now all in on the Brianna Wu character.
