So... can't he just log in at hover and fix it himself? It can't be much different from other registrars. I even tried putting in the domain name on their site and it says "Your domain is already in Hover. Please login to continue"
Wu is a pompous moron and utterly incompetent but this isn't hard.

She doesn't know how to set up the DNS records at the new registrar. They don't transfer over with the domain and she was using her previous registrar to handle that stuff.

Hover did nothing wrong. Godzilla of Tech didn't copy and set up her records at the new registrar (or use someone like Cloudflare that would maintain them).

I call bullshit. I've made moves with my entire family and all our shit before to new locations. Took us a uhaul and less than a day. Pack shit up over a week ahead of time save what we're using like PCs or TVs, start that in the morning, load everything, done by evening and winding down with pizza, soda, and sometimes alcohol with the bedrooms half set up and everyone showered. Wu can't even move right if he's being honest here, and I doubt he has as much shit to move.

If she is as successful as she says she is, they can afford the $1000 or whatever to hire movers to move everything. I just moved in September and it cost me $700 to move a 2-bedroom condo to a new house. It took me like half a day to pack up my stuff and another half day to unpack. The movers needed like 3 hours total.

6 days is likely because Brianna is not helping with the move at all and Frank actually has a job.

Alright, lemmie just read this article and Ctrl+F for Gamerga--

Oh.

Okay, does this article even mention the alt right--

Oh.

...Even after actually reading this news report it has absolutely nothing to do with what she's talking about. You can't just refer to an article about a double homicide and use it as a link between Gamergame and the alt-right when it doesn't even mention either, especially when the lunatic kid who pulled off the shooting wasn't even mentioned to being affiliated to a political party. Well, I guess you can if you're Brianna Wu.

But she might as well have linked an instructional guide on personal delousing with how much that article has to do with the word salad she just spewed.

People like Wu conflate Gamergate and Alt-Right with 'bad things'. A random giant asteroid (not a moon rock) could hit the planet, and people like Wu would claim it was the Alt-Right and/or Gamergate.

The guy was supposedly a Neo-Nazi, which means he’s CLEARLY an alt-right, which means he’s CLEARLY a GamerGate, which means he personally killed Wu’s dog and attacked her with a van.

I mean, obviously it’s that and not Wu being a lying exceptional.
It's not even that. The article doesn't say the kid's a neo-nazi, he just mowed a swastika into his lawn. Any moronic teenaged edgelord does this garbage without being a white supremacist because they're trying to get a rise out of people. Brianna saying he's alt-right and that a double homicide is indirectly the result of Gamergate isn't a leap in logic, it's a downright world record triple jump of logic and it makes my brain parts hurt.

And naturally after Brianna sets the precedent, her Twitter followers decide to follow suit.

LOL, Brianna is such a gamer-gurl that she even has a cartridge in her knee...

And the illiterate twat's husband is a trooper. Did anyone else know that Frank is a member of the state police or the U.S. Cavalry? (Actually, it would be worth a laugh to Photoshop Frank into She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.)

@LordKaT would you absolutely pay for a by-the-minute hotel room to make some phone calls in?

If I'm not going to fuck a hooker why would I get involved in a pay per minute hotel??? The next thing you're going to try and tell me is that the "magic fingers" beds are totally for massages and not fondling my balls and giving me an erection.

I've always thought about a micro-hotel, though - something that offers rooms about the size of a bed, with maybe a private shitter. Offer that in tourist places at a cheaper rate than local hotels. Make up for the lack of money in sheer volume. Offer half day and full day rates so you could attract local workers to do a one night stint. THAT I would pay for. I hate paying $80/night for shitholes like Motel 6.

Hourly hotels are totally a thing already. I can't imagine someone thinking "Well I want a place to sleep but only for like 12 minutes so that's all I wanna pay for" but I also really hadn't even considered that people would pay to have someone deliver unprepared food to them or get chauffeured around in a limo to play a children's video game so I guess I'm just not the target demographic.

So that's what all those shitty patent lawyers are up to. Want to expose any, John?

There's a good reason why patents exist and why people use software that is widely used. I could get into why countries like China were using Microsoft Windows until they decided to fuck up their government contracts with the announcement of Windows 10 and their plans for it leading to China to try and make their own OS , but it's not like John is reading this thread and he wouldn't understand it anyways.
