Brianna needs to stop trying to summarize things she overheard in the hallway from someone who attended an IETF session once.

This is such a weird obsession. Like what image does Wu think he's cultivating? Game nerd thing, fine I get it, dumb but I get it. Moto Chick, sure whatever...

Gear head politician with the most generic taste of all time?
I think John can only concentrate on spinning one fantasy narrative at a time for his OC, Brianna Wu. Right now, it's all Top Gear Wu for whatever reason despite Candidate Wu still technically being a thing. I am guessing that John thinks these different facets of his fictional life are like Barbie dolls where he can go play as another thing when he's bored with one but he still can go back to the other later.

Well then you better start practicing giving really good micropenis blowjobs, John!

A 930 of that era runs to six figures for a well looked after and restored version, and usually hovers at the 60-80 mark unrestored.

Wuchanic wouldn't actually know what the fuck they'd be doing with it as despite its lack of electronics" the older Porsche systems were surprisingly complicated for a rear mounted air cooled engine similar to a VW Beetle.

Season 2 of the Grand Tour is on in like, 2 days. Might explain the new Wuchanic persona.

He's like that episode of South Park where Butters plays pretend... Big Rig Butters, Inspector Butters, Postman Butters and so on. And if I recall, his parents thought he was mentally ill.

That's all John does is play pretend.
He doesn't have a degree or has gone through trade school.
He is not a mechanic, engineer, game dev or any of the things he claims to be.

Fuck you're right that might be it.

See some shit on tv, suddenly become it.

It's like that Pretender show, only you know without the super trained genius part.

It does match with WuWu's desperation to be always relevant somehow when nobody gives a fuck.

Animation during the US cartoon boom of the 90s, then gaming during the autistic thunderdrome of GG in the Mid 2010s, launched her political campaign when an unexpected outsider in Trump won, now barely a few days before twitter and social media becomes filled with the returned antics of Clarkson, May and Hammond she's become the Wuchanic.

Pot calling the kettle black much? You're an introvert by definition, Flu - you're NEVER seen outside the house except in the rare image showing off your shit bike, at a convention, or...wait, no, that's actually it beyond the one time you were at a hotel and revealed you're a chain smoker. We've never even seen the inside of either your TT or the Porsche!

Yet somehow, he repeatedly gets fake news stories about him where they breathlessly repeat his absolute lies about his completely invented past.

Actually, John, most client applications only use SMTP to send a message to the server to have it relayed, and use other protocols to retrieve messages. It was also updated and turned into "Extended SMTP" in 2008. I learned this from ONE CUNTING GOOGLE SEARCH. I don't know if Extended SMTP supports Two Factor Authentication, but I do know that Chrome yells at me to authorize my device every time I log into my Gmail from another device so, well, who fucking knows what's really going on?

The difference is, I admit I'm ignorant. You can't stop talking about shit you know less then nothing about.

JFC does she really think nobody in politics has ever lamented the fact that the charismatic assholes are the best candidates?

And FFS the introverts are the ones making the actually policy -- especially those with a law degree. She's such a political neophyte. Most of the introverts in politics are the chief of staffs, the policy writers and the strategists. The extroverts are the candidates, media people, and advance staff (go and setup events, interact with the host of event, guests).

This is just how it works. Nobody wants to listen to some introvert drone on about policy details at the rally.

Do remember that John has worked in a Congressman's office and should know this shit, but it's pretty clear that he didn't pay any attention to the world around him.
