Autostraddle keeps a running list of transwomen who have been murdered this year. Go on the site and I think you'll notice something very interesting, almost all of them are black and Hispanic. Being sjw loons they don't list who killed them but a simple Google search of their names pulls up news articles showing that almost universally they've been murdered by black and Hispanic men. The narrative that there are hordes of white cis alt right men murdering trannies by the dozens is pure sjw fantasy. In the U.S transwomen are almost universally murdered by members of those third world machismo cultures sjws keep telling us are totally compatible with western feminism.

Yup, and globally it’s mostly brown huehues killing brown tranny huehues.
 
Its worse than a hail mary. The last time it was used any sort of mild success was when a 15 year old managed to get a hung jury. (and that's about the upper limit where you'd expect someone to be emotionally immature enough where "Dude just hit on me...well, I got no choice but to kill him." is a thought process they'd have reasonably had).

You also have to look at who its been used by. In just about zero cases was it some random guy - there's always "...Oh and by the way he was well known to frequent gay bars and often had interactions with the victim before hand." that the BLTBBQ lobby likes make sure are only mentioned in the middle-end of the "One year after..." retrospective article once the outrage has pasted.

I mean, I'm pretty sure in our current lolcow's case, during opening arguments the prosecutor puts a picture of John Flynt-Wu up on the overhead, and says "Ladies and gentlequeers of the jury, The defendant claims he didn't know this was not really a woman", and that defense is blown the fuck out of the water.

(Also don't forget, if its legit sexual assault and you kill your attacker, there are better defenses available to you.)

Frank's got an inner circle of buddies who kiss his ass because he's won the babby edition of Hugo awards. They're all minimal-talent assholes like himself and Flu. Neoprogressivism captured this circle of influence ages ago, and Frank's a great embodiment of what this has ushered in. Outside this bubble, he's despised.

What I've heard (but couldn't immediately verify on Google) is that the trans woman murder statistics also reflect how many of them worked in the notoriously dangerous occupation of prostitution.

Anyway, its as you said, its not legal to murder trannies. (yet) Its an affirmative defense that primarily see use would be to drop a murder charge to manslaughter. To use it, you're going to have to pretty much confess "Yes, it was me, I killed that man in the dress", and that's the bulk of the prosecutions heavily lifting done for them.
To get off scott-free, you'd have to convince 12 people of this reasonable argument:
"Yes, see, when I discovered that woman had a ladypenis, I was over come with such emotion, well, I had no choice but to kill them. I definitely couldn't have just thrown up in my mouth a little and walked away. I am definitely not a further danger to myself, others, or society."

Honestly the only way someone'd walk is if the judge allowed the prosecution to be completely ‮dedrater

And even then Wu is full of shit, because the "trans-panic" defense only applies with a reasonable chance of success in a situation where the transgender party is actively committing a crime.

For example, some drunk dude gets hit on by some chick in a bar and he's soused enough he doesn't exactly realize she's got something extra in her skirt and she didn't exactly specify, and when she drags him off to get clothes off and the woman reveals she ain't a lady and is basically about to get it on with a guy they didn't inform about this detail, then the guy could make an arguable case of being taken advantage of and thus rape by deception, hence panicked attempts at self defense in which they left the "woman" injured and/or dead.

And even then if there was a reasonable chance of walking away from that without leaving a dead or injured transgender person in their wake, said defense doesn't totally wash.

Seriously, think back to when the Background Check Incident broke. At the time, we all were a little flabbergasted by just how little BriBri actually had to her name as far as basic life necessities we all take for granted go: No driver's license, no vehicles registered in her name, not even a state-issued ID Card. She got one later, but at the time, it was almost mesmerizing just how many aspects of her entire public persona were lies, just via this one incident alone.

She jokes about how she's engaging with voters by watching movies and playing video games, but the joke kind of falls flat when that's literally the only way she's engaging voters.
