Also, murder is murder no matter what that person's orientation or gender is. You can't say "they were trans" and expect to walk away free. That's just never going to happen so stop making it seem like it's a reality.

There's more, but I think it would all go to Flu in that situation given Frank would just be washing his hands of the matter. You've got a 12-core computer (that's probably on its last legs given Flu somehow keeps pushing it to run 100% capacity 100% of the time), the entire suite of game consoles both new and vintage, the dusty shelves of video game statues and pony toys, that gaudy-as-fuck bike we haven't seen in months, and the dogs - three unkempt, probably not housebroken poochies and the ashen remains of Crash.

It would all go to Flu...but then the question must be raised as to where. Flu would be effectively homeless and they certainly can't go running back to mommy and daddy anymore.

The only crap Frank would maybe keep is all the nerf shit.

Maybe it's just one dog, two dried dog skeletons fused together in an improvised IKEA dog prison, and a shoe box filled with ash. He only talks about Rocket and when the other dogs are seen in pictures they seem to be recycled from old tweets(if I'm remembering that right).
They might have been given away or put in a "no kill" shelter of course, not that Wu would ever admit to something like that unless the new Twitter trend became bravely talking about how hard it is to give up children for adoption.

So here's the thing, and we've been over it before but it might be useful for the people new to WuWorld.

I just don't get Frank.

The theory is he's a control freak who, having been walked out on by two true and honest women so far in his life, now want someone who is wholly dependant on him.

Thing is, I don't see a control freak putting up with the way John publicly humiliates him.
I'm not a narcissist or a control freak (honest, I have problems in other directions) but the "LOL so patient, look at my stupid husband" shit would have me getting drunk and murdering John in his sleep.

I don't know how Frank does it , he's either so laid back he's catatonic, unlikely given his past relationships, or he's repressing some major rage issues that could end badly.

At one point or another it was implied that Frank had a part in Wu's "oh woe is me" shtick during Gamergate to garner attention, though how much and to what means ultimately is not known.

Frank allows it. The number of things that John berates him for is very limited: he sucks at video games, he doesn't know how to clean the house, etc. John would never make fun of him for his shit writing, or for his educational qualifications, let's say.

He elides the fact that "trans panic" is an affirmative defense, which usually means the defendant has to prove to the fact finder that he acted reasonably in the circumstances that led to the victim's death. Such a defense certainly didn't help Matthew Shepard's killers, because no reasonable person can be allowed to fucking crucify someone in an empty field because they got hit on by a gay man. I've said it before, but I'm convinced something about John gives Frank a weird sexual thrill. Whether it's his economic helplessness, his bizarre appearance, or just the fact he's a post op transsexual I have no idea. Frankly, I don't want to know.

While he was a POS to his ex-wife, she finally said enough.
She has enough education and skills to take care of herself.

John has absolutely nothing without someone elses money, no skills or even the most basic College degree and he has burned every bridge possible.

If you're charged with first degree murder, which requires premeditation, the fact that you were reacting in a panic entirely defeats the premeditation requirement and means it is not first degree murder. You can't constitutionally prohibit someone from raising a defense that clearly and factually means you were guilty of some lesser offense, like second degree.

There are a lot of nuances and problems with even simple affirmative defenses. I don't really expect even a halfway honest politician to address them all when campaigning on either side of them, but making the leap from "This defense shouldn't be permitted" to "THIS IS LEGALIZING TRANS MURDERS REEEE" makes my head hurt.
