My theory is Wu is sick of pretending to be a politician already and now wants to be a video game streamer. Unfortunately for her you can't just pivot after collecting a bunch of money in donations. So she's pretending it's all for her campaign when in reality she desperately wants to be the next big Twitch star.

That's been her MO forever. She wants to be an engineer sometimes. Then it's cool to be a journalist so that's what she gets obsessed with. Then she's a car aficionado. And now she's going to get obsessed with video game streaming for a little while before that gets boring and she moves on to cooking, finger painting or whatever she thinks is trendy. It's like a child with a new toy.

Brianna Wu tittystreaming when

I created an ad for Wu's campaign. I just learned how to use Premiere to make this, but I reckon my editing skills are already as good as Wu's, plus it didn't take my a month to make.

My god that was DSP tier of bad, and he is playing it in the PS4? i see that VR ready rig is now collecting dust or one of the dogs pissed on it and destroyed it

Can Brianna even code properly?

Rev60 was a buggy and glitchy mess and she had very little involment in the actual development and forced to rely other for the code, if I remember correctly.

No, the only thing John did was throw money at some idiots and plaster his name in the credits, after that the only thing that he did was screech on Twitter after Frank finally added shittons of lights and modified some of the models, the game is still a unplayable garbage

You can tell Brianna is largely over it now. He can't dodge tough questions forever, the donations are slowing down, and he despises having this new degree of accountability for his words/actions. He's going to stay in as long as he can and use this for resume padding.

After that? I'm still working under the assumption that the next step is a book. Now that he's got a protected Wikipedia page seeded with fluff pieces from his friends, he can publish his autobiography of lies to complete the transformation into one of his Mary Sues from SOCCON.

Heh, there's a thread on this on ResetEra, the board where all the NeoGAF SJWs fled to that's even crazier if such a thing were possible.

Once you get past the initial few posts from people who don't really know who Wu is, they basically all agree that's she's insane and unqualified to hold office. When Wu can't even convince the ResetEra crowd that she's one of them you know she has absolutely no base at all.

Fucking Flu said in the DOTeSports "article;"

"Heads up: Our Twitch playthrough of #Wolfenstein was hijacked by white supremacists for most of the broadcast yesterday," Wu wrote on Twitter. "We are going to be adding moderators, will give it another go very soon. I still believe Twitch can be a viable campaign platform."

It's also worth to mention that Rev60 was made with UDK and entirely written in Unreal Script with cutscenes done in Kismet, the Unreal engine and the actual code base was far beyond their reach and understanding.

So when Brianna was bragging about being an Unreal Engine expert he only had access and "expertise" in the equivalent of the modding tools for a game, and all that was free on PC at the time but if you wanted it for mobile development it cost 50 grand.

Also correct me if I'm wrong, but unreal has a stack of pre-programmed libraries you can download and tweak. So its likely John got a stack of them and fucked around until it looked like it was working.

Plus, you can upgrade your standard game to a deluxe version by changing a single number in the files.

That was actually my first thought when Wu announced he was going to stream, but then I thought it might have just been for the press attention. The fact he's talking about doing it again seems a little more convincing. I think it'll last even shorter than Wu cosplaying as a street racer. Even if he has Frank on constant mod duty, I think he sucks way too much at gaming to keep at it. I know it doesn't stop someone like DSP, but I think Wu will take it much harder, given how much he boasts about being great at gaming. Unlike DSP, he doesn't even have that one 4th place trophy to fall back on.

A fairly neutral article on the Livestream.

Though any journalist who seriously describes John as a "CEO", is not worthy of the title
The journalist probably "sourced it from his Wikipedia page.
Occupation CEO of Giant Spacekat, software engineer[2][3]
There is no listing for Giant Spacekat, Chessboard Holdings, LLC, Brianna Wu, or John Flynt on the SoS sites for Massachusetts, West Virginia, or Mississippi. Now this isn't new information that any Wu or Flynt refuses to disclose the EIN of the company where "Brianna" is the "CEO". A fun reminder that about the only legitimate information that can be found about Giant Spacekat is the trademark (what a perfect specimen to submit). Oddly enough googling of Chessboard Holdings, LLC will list on page 1 the itunes page for Rev 60. Nothing says congressional candidate quite like claiming to be a CEO of an unregistered/dissolved company whose location is a residential address in MA and attorney of record resides above a Starbucks Coffee.

There were community stuff that could be downloaded but that's still limited to scripts and wicked sick Goku models AFAIK, any actual libraries from Epic I'm not so sure about. There probably were something specific for iOS profiles/API's or something like that. And that brings up another point, porting, the whole game is written in high-level scripts for the engine and not for the system it runs on so there's no need for porting, change the controls and it's one click and it would be squeezed out for PC.

I think we can all agree that Brianna has as much experience coding, as she has in having a fully functional vagina.

Brianna is, was, and ever will be, only interested in what she thinks makes her look important and cool. You can bet your spleen on the fact, that as soon 'musical farting' becomes what 'successful women do', she will instantly declare herself a 'butt musician' with years of experience.

There are a few minor things that need to be changed for mobile platforms like controls, interface changes, and some resource optimization to make it all fit on a smaller system (in terms of both power and storage), but nearly all the code is cross platform, you just need to box it in the appropriate wrapper (and they do that for you) and it's ready to ship.

How adorable, """"politics junkie"""" John Flynt imagines that (a) politics is a logical game and (b) John is in any way equipped to play it even if it were.

There are a few other problems in that stupid tweet.

(1) We do teach programming courses in schools. Just because Flynt/Wu never took one doesn't mean they're not offered.

(2) Debugging does not involve reexamining fundamental assumptions. Flynt/Wu would know this if he'd ever had to debug a program.

(3) The idea that engineers -- or any other group -- apply the reasoning skills needed in their profession to their political beliefs is moronic. I know plenty of successful engineers who haven't reexamined their political beliefs since they started reading Ayn Rand at age 14.

lmfao, Hillary had unfair press? On what planet? Donal Trump had far worse and still is. He’s an idiot but still, the press is liberal.

I will bet you a thousand dollars John has not spent even five minutes reading the proposal. He probably read a lefty blogger’s takedown and even that is a stretch.

This is the part that I really don't get. I can see repeating the lie over and over to make everyone else believe it, but what do you really gain from that? John still knows he's John and always will.

John isn't a real person. Not real in the sense that he's aware of himself on a deep level. To him, how other people see him is who he really is. Appearance is everything. Behind the mask is nothing.
