I've made it a point to never actually hear Wu's voice, so I only watched a couple minutes on mute but it was long enough to see her die in the exact same way twice within a minute, turn down the difficulty and only be spared dying the same exact way again because of the lowered difficulty.

So that was pretty nice.

And then when she started playing the one game she puts the most time into (Peggle), she was still awful. I don't even know how someone can spend so much time with video games and still be so terrible.

Personally I am pretty sure it is:

Wu gets to play-pretend 'feminist icon' and Frank gets to do stupid shit like being Godzilla or do whatever hobby project he has a the moment; And both can use other people's money for that, for as long it seems vaguely related to Wu running for Congress.

In some report to the FEC a third of the campaign expenses were reimbursements to Frank Wu. Apart from being in two or three interviews, a few idiotic campaign ads that no one saw and making an ass out of herself on Twitter she has done nothing that qualifies as campaigning.

I think this is a scam, Brianna might not be able to admit that to herself or even really realize it, but I guess Frank does.

She seems to have the work ethic of a two legged horse dragging itself across the prairie. You might not amount to anything ever but by God you're going to try!
 
This scampaign is all about making her CV even better, improving her Wikipedia page and buying things from campaign funds that she will get to keep. It's actually a pretty sweet deal, because instead of the money coming straight out of Daddy Franks's pocket she's got willing suckers paying for things instead.

While Wu's campaign has been almost zero effort on nearly every front, she has had an utterly ridiculous level of media attention which is the most important win for Wu. Look at Wu's pinned tweet, "I spoke with the New York Times about my campaign." While that sentence smears shit all over the NYT, it's still impressive that this utter spastic can pull it off. Let's not forget that John Walker Flynt had a restraining order taken out against him by a college newspaper, but Brianna Fucking Wu gets interviewed by the New York Times as though she's a genuine candidate.

Wikipedia isn't nearly as important these days as it used to be. Even the average person these days knows it's a place where bullshit artists can get fluff written about them and they have hordes of idiots gaming the bureaucracy to make sure the bullshit remains.

Besides, I've fact checked the Wikipedia article, all the sources that are true make Wu look like an overblown fool and all the ones that contradict each other add up to a lot of crap that makes the article out to be a lie. Even what they wrote clearly outlines Wu's main claim to fame is attention whoring and little else.

Both that Star Wars and Star Trek events were only briefly mentioned by Wu like once or twice, and there have been so far no evidence of either of the two events taking place. So I guess talking to people on Twitch so far has been the closest thing to a campaigning event that Wu has done, even if most of the 100 or so people watching are just guys from here trolling her and the few people who aren't, don't even live in the district.
 
She can't even get past the tutorial level in a game designed from the ground up to appeal to casuals and normies. God only knows how she'd cope with Bloodborne or Cuphead.
