Hah, Frank is even better at Peggle than BriBri. This is supposed to be the game she's absolutely obsessed with. Why is Wu so bad at everything?

Edit: Did someone record this whole thing? It's crying out for a death montage, possibly to the tune of the 1812 overture. With punctuation when she lowered the difficulty twice and still failed miserably.
She sucked at fucking Peggle?! I missed that because I had to leave for a bit soon after she switched off Wolfenstein. I think @Bob Page said he was.

The best moments of the stream were Wu's sotto voce comments to Frank about who to ban.

The "johnflynt" guy at the beginning of the stream especially. I laughed.
Was that the shit where he silently whispered into Frank's ear repeatedly during the stream? 'Cause my immediate thought when I saw that was "Some bans getting handed out".

Most of the fucking chat was probably from the farms.

I'm pretty sure someone got a copy of all my comments, and I'm surprised I wasn't banned simply for being me.

I actually got some answers to my questions and it must have been noticed I bent every effort to be polite and respectful.

But John, where is your campaign staff and Natalie? Raped by Harvey Weinstein I guess?

She lowered it down to "Don't Hurt Me!" and still she died quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if we see the same thing on "Can I play, Daddy?"

Total amount of times Wu died: 26

I remember all of Wolfenstein, I think I got banned after he put it on "Can I play, Daddy?". But I stuck around and kept listening while doing other stuff. I noticed he was coughing quite a bit while talking a lot in later points in a stream.

Edit: ONLY 26? Man I actually underestimated him.

You must have missed the part where she lowered the difficulty again because she was still dying. And she was still terrible at it. God knows how she plays gears of war, she doesn't seem to understand that the thumb sticks are analogue. She just holds down the fire button and sprays acres of bullets vaguely in the direction of a target then gets mad when she dies. It was kind of soul crushing to watch.

I gave up, I could barely hear anything.

And, based on what I could hear, I'm not impressed with Wu's ability to deliver solutions for state issues.

I've heard a lot of good basic ideas, like better health care and drug rehabilitation access and increased jobs for areas other than urban centers, but I've heard very little on how to deliver these great ideas.

Honestly, Wu has a lot of things I think would be great if implemented, but I'm not sanguine on the fact I'm not hearing how this is going to be implemented from a logistics and budgetary standpoint.
I thought it was funny how she spent more time fawning over the obvious troll comment of "you're a hero to female gamers everywhere" compared to considering your questions about her actual campaign.

AN hero. wu's been assembling various tech bits since the 80's but she's not hip to 2007 internet memes ):

I watched for like a minute; all that was tolerable. We walked around in circles as Frank banned people from chat. If you wanted to hear political stances, disappointed. If you see Nazis get shooty kablooie, disappointed. I did get to hear John rattle on about his ambien addiction for quite some time after saying “pot is cool” so if I wanted to just see the worst of Wu, mission success.
Seriously after @GethN7 asked about weed,
Wu just kept rambling about ambien.

FYI, I was asking that in dead seriousness. Partially because I wanted Wu's opinion on it, and partially to see how knowledgeable Wu was about the issue.

Apparently, Wu doesn't realize it's been legal in his own state since late last year.

What purpose did this serve? We all know not a single MA-8 voter watched this abomination. No one who watched was planning to donate.

So was it just for the harassment angle and to feed a shitty article by Cory Doctorow, a personal friend of Frank Wu, about a candidate for congress being trolled on twitch?

I honestly think that Wu thought this was a good idea. I don't think she had an ulterior motive, she really thought this would be a good way to reach out to people. She thought she was jumping on a popular Nazi punching meme bangwagon and this was going to be a smashing success. Wu is just really, really stupid. Everyone here knew how this would go from the second she announced it.

Wu really is an incredible combination of stupid and lazy. She had that video made by someone, I doubt she did the art herself, but she didn't put any effort in to dressing her Twitch channel like a proper streamer. She made absolutely no effort to funnel the 3 or 4 genuine viewers towards her mailing list or donating, she didn't run a bot in the chat to spam the link, or have anything in the page description text about who she was and what she was running for. It was a shitshow.

I do now understand why Wu owns so many games but never actually plays any of them. It's because she's fucking terrible. She made a big deal out of how she never played the first game in Wolf 2's intro sequence, but she actually owns it. She's only played the first 5 minutes of the game while it's teaching you the controls, and just quit as soon as the shooting started. She's incredible.

This is why I'm still on the fence about this being a scam, and am leaning towards the idea that she may just in fact be this deluded.

Perhaps Frank Wu, being a degenerate chinaman, is the one orchestrating this “Producer”-like scam?
They get donations for a candidacy that is guaranteed to fail and they get to keep the money, alternatively they’ll buy shit for the campaign and then sell it afterwards.

Well it’s already been established that John has a vastly over inflated sense of self worth. So maybe that’s really the case but I find it so hard to believe that someone is so delusional and stupid that they’re able to run a a congressional campaign with no media oversight or accountability.

I think she really is this deluded. She is actually convinced she is going to win by virtue of her sheer awesomeness.

How she reacts when she loses with only a handful of votes cast her way will be the real decider. If she brushes it off and says, "oh well, what are you gonna do?", then that's evidence of a scam. If she chimps out and compares herself to Hillary, and accuses Lynch of collaborating with Gamergate to hack the election, then deluded.
