Even if they did list MA-8 as a credible primary challenge, it wouldn't be for John. If I recall there was another guy trying for the dem primary who used to be a fucking fighter pilot.

If you go back and read interviews Brianna gave at the height of GSK, it's clear that she never had much interest in actually being a game developer. She would often talk about selling her ideas to a company like EA for a lofty sum and then be able to market herself as some kind of "ideas consultant" for companies (ie. paid to be Brianna Wu).

Not all that shocking given that she was doing something similar as John Flynt writing Election Eve. He even wrote a commercial starring his characters to show people just how "great" they could be for marketing. If anyone here hasn't seen that, you should go read it now.

As you put it, his goal is not to actually be conventionally successful in any of these ventures. His objective is to be known for being a public figure and famous not for any accomplishments but for simply being famous. Frank is his meal ticket, so his ambitions are directed at the intersection of his narcissism and fetishism.
 
I get the feeling that there are people posting in this thread because they think John can in some way negatively affect their RL.

It's the middle of the day in Boston and Wu rents an expensive coworking space, but she's at home with her yappy rat dogs (only one of which she ever seems to give a shit about, the others totally neglected.) $1000 a month well spent.
 
Out of all my daily interactions with rude assholes I'd say at least half are with women. It's rather telling that all of John's horrible people in public stories are against men.

I know it's easy to find, but I feel bad about sharing a lot of details about Brianna and Frank's families. Their only crime is being related that these loonies.

Then again, could we argue that Brianna doxxed* her own sister because she shared her full name on twitter even though gamergate Satan worshippers and assassins weee watching?

I never realized that John had the "Christian Weston Chandler" naming pattern where they gave him both of his parents' last names.

It's a Southern thing; a lot of folks end up with first names that are family surnames a couple generations back, in addition to middle names being a female relative's maiden name.
