At this point the whole "haha John doesn't even have a license\can't drive" thing seems like little more than a meme that won't die. Maybe it was true at one point but we have evidence of Wu driving some hapless reporter around and the way the story is written makes me think the author wasn't lying. It's always possible Wu is driving w\out license but, again, there's really no reason to think that other than Wu being incompetent at life.

It was never true. The whole stupid thing was based on the flimsy evidence of one free background check website that couldn't find a drivers licence on file for her. People seemed to want to believe it, so the meme wouldn't die no matter how much contradictory evidence there was.
 
I'm pretty sure the Audi is a stick. I remember one of the "mods" being a tacky light up shift knob or something. There were pics posted. Pretty sure it's a 4cyl as well.

It's hideous. Red is about the worst color for lights inside a car. I thought tron lights were blue anyway.

From the bit of research I did, that car seems to be the low-end base model apart from the optional AWD. And supposedly it was backed into in a parking lot and that's why it's getting repainted. What an absolute money pit.
 
So it is a stick. I guess that's... something. On the other hand, that confirms it as the slowest Audi TT variant. Normally when I see an unusual looking car that's marketed as being fast but has an inline 4 with less than 200 horsepower, I'd make a joke about it basically being a civic/accord/camry with a fancy body kit. But, as we've learned today, that would absolutely be an insult to the Accord.

Also I saw those pics of the interior LED's a while back, but my god I had forgotten exactly how trashy it looks. Wu really does have the taste of a 19 year old boy ricing out his shit box first car.

It's legal because there isn't a law against it, and there isn't a law against it because the people who draft gun laws don't know the slightest fucking thing about the technical realities of guns, so they'll pass "assault weapon" and "automatic weapon" bans that, because of incompetent drafting, don't actually outlaw what they planned on outlawing.

Wow, that's quite the car John has sitting on his lawn, if it weren't an automatic anyway. Really, if he wanted a racing car, all he'd have to do would be to put some number decals on the side.

Of course, the Accord is 'totaled', which probably means it needed new tires or something and John begged for a new car instead. So what about the car he replaced it with?

So yes, the Audi "racing car" is a definite step down. Of course, it's an automatic too, I'd say there's no chance John can drive stick (insert joke about John's missing stick here). I kind of wish he kept the Accord: If he was bent on keeping up a "racing" image, he'd inevitably try to put on aftermarket suspension, exhaust, or even a turbo charger- the results, and subsequent Twitter mansplaining, would be hilarious.

I had the V6 Accord 2010-2011 ish.

Its very fast in a straight line. I got 135 mph out of it down the M33 on the way to Glastonbury festival and I bottled it before the car did.

Its not so great around a crowded city like London though and was constantly getting dinged. Jap parts in the UK are unbelievably expensive (£85 for an electronic window switch) so the day it was stolen was one of the happiest of the decade.

But yeah no, it would piss all over that Audi and John is a delusional cockless cunt.

Additional to the fact that they don't know what they're legislating about (Wu fits in here) and probably never knew what these stocks were, the items in question dindu nothing before this week. They're almost a complete novelty... unless you happen to be firing down from an elevated position towards a crowd so big that you don't even have to aim.

The only way to make things like this illegal (things that are so far off the radar) is to make everything illegal and just make exceptions for things you like... oh right that would be Wu's method of governing.

All of the VW autogroup models from the time period his TT is from have Red LEDs under the rearview mirror*. I know because I owned one. Proof here. Look at the glow of the trim around the console, note that I'm not talking about the red glow of the console buttons, its two lights on the bottom of the mirror itself which bathe the whole interior in Red. Any VW fan knows about this, "added Tron Lights" my ass. Check it yourself: Its the two little LEDs on the bottom of the mirror. Illuminated 1 , Illuminated 2 (3B0857511 autodimming only). Maybe I'll dig out pics of my interior to prove that if you take the shot in blackness, it looks exactly like his pics do (and thats by design, to add red-interior-coolness-factor).

Yes, you will have to redo the interior lighting, because these gen cars are pieces of shit and what you would assume are LEDs are actually bulbs(!!!) even on shit like the illumination next to the vents. Probably the most common thing to fix on one of these because its retar.ded design, plenty of LED conversion kits are sold. But you're not going to be adding anything because its all red anyway, and everyone who buys one of these has to do it. I wonder what Frank's VWVortex username is.

*later gens have the same Red LEDs moved to the roof thing where the map lights are

The shitty paint job reflects the light from the streetlamps in an uneven manner, behind the wheel and bathed in a hellish, red glow you see a hunched over, snarling ghoulish figure, that's not giving any heed to the street in front of it, as it's tapping away on her iPhone, all while a constantly screaming, Asian guy sits on the passenger seat.

If only there was some kind of massive and irresponsibly powerful lobbyist organisation that would defend firearm ownership to the bitter, bloody end, and also happened to own about half of Congress, to the point that their influence in politics bordered on undemocratic and shady.

I mean, if that existed, then I guess we'd be able to say something like "No matter what 'sentiment' you may think is important, you will never pass any kind of real gun restrictions in a Republican controlled Congress, you drooling mongoloid".
