Alright, I know it was a few pages back, but it's been bugging me... someone said his, old car was an Accord V6?
I didn't know the Accord ever had a V6. What kind of power does it make?
2015 Honda Accord V6:
286 HP (!)
0-60 in 6.1 seconds
Wow, that's kind of impressive. If Frank's car is the low-end V6, it's about the same power. And,
people seem to really like the accord.
Wow, that's quite the car John has sitting on his lawn, if it weren't an automatic anyway. Really, if he wanted a racing car, all he'd have to do would be to put some number decals on the side.
Of course, the Accord is 'totaled', which probably means it needed new tires or something and John begged for a new car instead. So what about the car he replaced it with?
2001 Audi TT:
180-225 HP (We don't know which engine it has)
0-60: 6.4-7.2 seconds
So yes, the Audi "racing car" is a definite step down. Of course, it's an automatic too, I'd say there's no chance John can drive stick (insert joke about John's missing stick here). I kind of wish he kept the Accord: If he was bent on keeping up a "racing" image, he'd inevitably try to put on aftermarket suspension, exhaust, or even a turbo charger- the results, and subsequent Twitter mansplaining, would be hilarious.
Speaking of which... Can John really not drive? I don't think he can drive stick, or ride a motorcycle, but really... Frank buys him not just one car, but two (or was the Accord Frank's?) And, he can't drive at all? It certainly seems like he's scared of driving, or of being seen driving, but it's just so strange to imagine that he's spent ten times the time talking about his car and "restoring" it that it would take him to just get a license, and he hasn't...
