As someone who went through the old "fix it and hope that it drives one to two more years or buy a new one"-decision more than once, I can say that fixing up an 16 year old Audi will really connect well with the little guy.

Wait, I thought the paint job was done months ago? Why is John suddenly adding clear coat? This should have been part of the repaint process.

If you're adding clear coat months after a respray, you need to buff back down, primer, colour coat and finally lacquer it (in simple terms).

Wait, did John forget the lacquer and is now actively gloating about it?

Haven't they just been absolutely fucked by a hurricane? I think most of Puerto Rico cares a little more about things like electricity and shelter than handing out points to virtue signallers.

Well, they are Americans too.

But that's not the point. The point is to do to the Electoral College and Congress what DC did to it on a larger scale: install what are apt to be permanent inflated numbers for Democrats. I think PR would get something like 7 EC votes following the census after it becomes a state. Not a lot compared to the juggernauts of California and New York, but certainly enough to make a difference in a close race.
