Hah, some of these poor delusional bastards really believe Wu has a campaign.

By "ad" she means video that nobody will watch. The last one with Frank espousing the virtues of his "lady" love is 2 months old now and has yet to reach 1.5K views.

The one positive is supportbrianna.com is a real website that works, but it's shown before it's even said why donations are needed, or what they're going for, or who Brianna's opponent is.

I know "get the hell out of my way" is John's attitude about everything but stop pretending you're going to be anyone's congresswoman for chrissakes.

John was at a few of the same events as this woman. She ran for some offices and now has a nice thing going on running https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girls_Who_Code.
I'm sure it's Wu's intention to mimic this woman's later career but I really doubt she'll pull it off she's so quietly loathed by the women in tech community.

LOL. This had to have been composed by Wu-woo, because it's barely edited. She just put together some CNN clips, added some text, and an "I approve this message" boilerplate at the end.

The whole point of campaign ads is to be short and to the point, not to play whole segments of your opponent's speech. You get a sound bite or two, use it to support your point, and move on.

Lukewarm water is more "blistering" than this. Bri-bri is willing to shell out thousands on a piece of shit car, but can't be bothered to pay for a video editor that knows what they're doing.

EDIT: "MAKE BELIEVE FULL OF" would be the perfect new headline for this thread, since Hillary's campaign is over and Bri actually released Rev 60.

I was waiting the whole time for another jumpscare like the last ad, but all we got was that motorcycle pic again. :heart-empty:

So are all the Wus' ads going to be 2 or 3 minutes long? These would never, ever make it on TV unless they paid an absolute fortune for the privilege. Have they never heard of the 30-second ad spot - which itself is an endangered species for being too long?

What struck me as hilarious is that quite clearly the part of this ad that received the most effort was that "supportbrianna.com" logo. John's favorite part of the campaigning process seems to be designing "arty" logos for himself - see also that ghastly "bumper sticker":

And for that matter, how tacky is it that he sends his ad viewers directly to a donation form? He has a campaign website, you know.

And, of course "make believe" is misspelled. It's hyphenated as a noun: make-believe.

Quite in keeping with the the high quality of the entire production.

Heh. She did pay a video editor who knew what he's doing.
Unfortunately judging by the non-appearance of the godzilla advert, "what he was doing" seems to have been running away with all the money and not producing a damn thing.

It's either that or the ad turned out such a completely terrible disaster that even Wu judged it unfit for public consumption.
