Hmm. The appearance of player names underneath the opponent character's name had me thinking Bri-bri was facing actual opponents.

Then again, i'd imagine that she doesn't have enough actual friends to play with online, and those that do avoid her like the plague so she doesn't accuse them of being granygropers when they beat her mediocre ass.

Do you want iron ore that costs vastly more per gram than platinum? Because that's how you get iron ore that costs more than platinum. Not to mention the 100 odd years it would take to even capture an asteroid and the unheard of feat of orbital mechanics to somehow get it in to orbit around earth.

Along similar lines, someone once did the math, and if you could literally turn straw into gold in space - just send up a space shuttle full of straw and have it all come back as gold - it still wouldn't be economical to do it.

Several failed athletes did that, but Brianna most likely did it because she wanted more praise for lower achievements. Remember that Brianna is literally the only woman in tech and everything does has been an enormous achievement that threatens the patriarchy and elevates all of womenkind.

I don't think Wu understands that better fundraising doesn't directly mean a better campaign. In fact, I think Wu's just whining that he still doesn't make jack shit compared to his husband.

Yeah but I wouldn't put this campaign as a standard for how to spend or not spend money. Trump was running on fucking memes and shit, while Hillary was hobbled by the fact she was fucking Hillary Clinton.

Your average shit stain congress run is going to need cash and cash and cash.
 
There's only so far boatloads of cash can get you - take that election in Georgia which was way more high profile than most other races like it - the Dem spent about $25mill and the Republican who won spent about $5mill.

Having cash can only get you so far, you need a message that people can recognise, understand and support. To be fair I think John does understand this to an extent, we mock him for his "plan" to get "tech jobs" into his district but at least it's something, it's light-years ahead of MovieBob and his "gas the workers, class war now" approach to to your average voter.

The DNC raises hardly any money because at a national level all it can do is screech and, more importantly, they don't actually have a message people can get behind, all they have is "Urgh can you believe Fronald Jlumpf". John's so close to realising this but instead he blames the lack of funding on the fact that Dem's are open to the idea of having pro-life candidates - a point I guarantee that 95%+ of people aren't aware of/don't care about.

At least Hillary looks fairly human, no amount of zeros in a bank account will get any sane person to take 1 look at Wu, hear 1 word out of his own mouth, and decide he deserves a box ticked anywhere near his name on a ballot.

He's just about as wrong as you could possibly be on this. Anyone whose even remotely aware of stock markets etc would know that stocks have been reaching record highs recently seemingly only because Trump is in charge and there's some promise of more pro-business policies on the horizon.

The reason stocks are going down currently is, in part, because of recent stuff that (in the minds of particularly flighty investors) puts Trump at risk of impeachment or puts his economic agenda in doubt.

Ironically if Trump were to be impeached the stock market would tank for a while because nobody would know what the fuck was going on.
