You seem to have CBC confused with American media. Canadian media doesn't care about "narratives" unless it was for Trudeau when he claimed he would give them back the funding Harper took away from them. Since he didn't they wen't back to being unbiased.

You have NO idea how close that hits to the truth. I am not gonna get into detail, but a lot came to the light as they pushed the last banning motion to the Federal Constitutional Court. One joke going around was, that if all undercover agents would be taken of the job, and they stopped paying the informants, nobody would be left in the NPD.

The two people who did that aren't exactly known journalists in Canada. Rachel Matlow is an "arts culture" journalist. Something I never heard of in Canada and Julian Uzielli supposedly won an award for his coverage of the Fort Mac fires but I never heard of it. Most of the decent coverage came from Globe and Mail and Global, Global being the one who kept track of how large the fire was.

That radio show get's less listeners than people that check out the Sunshine girls in various provinces. There's a good chance that less than 1000 people in Canada listen to it and probably no more than 5000 worldwide. It certainly never get's advertised anywhere.

The old joke is that if you go to a Klan rally, you'll find that it consists of about a half dozen undercover federal agents all trying to incriminate each other. Pretty much any established white extremist group is going to be highly infiltrated (especially after the Oklahoma City bombing) because unlike ISIS or black panthers, etc, your generic cop can just grow a beard, shave his head, and fit right in.

...which is why nazis/etc have been a joke for a long time. 10 years ago if you saw the images of those dudes with torches they'd have been laughed at. Now they're made out to be some sort of dark, tentacle-like monster by Wu, etc. without realizing how much it plays into the image they're trying to cultivate.

John's never actually been a stereotypical SJW, he just runs with that crowd because they're the only ones who'll uncritically accept him as a woman. Outside of trans issues, he has very little in common with your average Tumblrite. If you could wave a magic wand and turn him into the Always-Woman he presents himself as, he'd be more like a plain old mid-'90s Democrat - garnished with a heaping pile of moronism, naturally.
 
He's not the only one though. All of a sudden the brave anti Nazi fighters are deeply concerned with the wellbeing of the Jews.

It's sort of like how at the end of Breaking Bad, they had an irredeemable asshole main character so in order to make him seem not so bad and like you could root for him was by pitting him against actual literal Nazis.

Braindead idiots like John don't understand sarcasm or irony and the fact that terms like 'PC Master Race' are ridiculing the idea of a master race, not supporting it. He thinks he's being really clever and woke but all this is doing is showing he has very little understanding of how human beings work and the how important the use of humour to deal with difficult and horrific events and traumas is to us as a species.
