Most of Wu's identity lies have some basis in reality. There's nothing in John's personal history that he can exaggerate into military service.

Plus, John is at least somewhat measured with his lies. He's not going to shoot the moon and claim something like military service when the potential blowback would be devastating.

I like how he just says "I know how to fix this" without actually providing a single way to fix it. You'd think someone who "fought the alt-right and won" would be more forthcoming about how to beat them. I think my favorite thing about Wu's campaign run has been the fact that the only time he really went into detail about something, it was the crazy moon rocks thing. And even then, he didn't say how he would stop it, he just explained how rich CEO's are planning to turn the moon into a railgun or whatever. Well, I guess he also offered details about how he'd decorate his office with old arcade cabinets, which as we all know is something District 8 voters have been dying to know. Other than that, I think the closest he's come to talking about policy is vaguely alluding to password authentication when making passing references to cyber security.

I am so, so SO fucking sick of hearing about GamerGate. It doesn't exist anymore. It is dead, deader than dead. It died when people realized, 'Hey, these game journalists are fucking dumb as dogshit and I can just ignore them. Hey, these indie cunts make terrible games and I can just not buy them.'

It hasn't existed for three fucking years. The people are still around, but they don't do GG anymore. Shut the fuck up about it. Anyone who mentions it seriously in relation to any event now is so fucking stupid that any opinion they hold should be ignored. The Alt-Right didn't come from it. GG was a reaction to extreme SJW culture, just like the Alt-Right. That's the only thing the two have in common.

On the same side of the coin, anyone who is still holding the torch for GG is fucking stupid. Its a dead movement, irrelevant as the game journalists it was railing against. Now pretty much everyone mocks game journalists and gaming sites, so it is even doubly irrelevant. The 'fake news' shit is entirely different. Because there's no mass movement, everyone hates journalists. Hell, more people hate journalists than Congress.

The only people who still regularly talk about GG are crazy troons like Brianna because, just like everything else, they thought it was all about them. John won't give it up because it was the closest he's ever come to achieving the fame and notoriety he's always wanted.

That's what the Congressional Run is all about. Identity politics has resulted in loss after loss to the Democratic Party. Even going all in, they STILL haven't captured the millennial vote. Its the same/lower as it was under Obama. It is a losing proposition. Wu isn't going to win, because nobody will have heard of him except people on Twitter.

Its just another fake thing to add to his resume. He'll put down 'Congressional Candidate' even though you have to win a primary to be one. He's incompetent at everything he does. That the media fawns over him as a 'female game designer' is outright insulting to female game designers. He's an insane troon and an absolute loathsome individual.

Yeah, white power and militias have been infiltrated by the ATF, FBI and Local Law Enforcement going on 20 years now. Ever since McVeigh the government put a firm clamp on that shit. Most 'militas' now are just fat guys with tacticool AR-15s.
