In my mind Brianna is saying "I'm doing politics" and dancing with a little dog, every day, before leaning in on a mirror saying "Would you vote for me? I would vote for me..."

"I'd vote for me. I'd vote for me HARD!" Except he killed the dog and blamed it on GamerGate. And he isn't even registered in the district he's running in because he doesn't live there and probably has never set foot in it, so he can't vote for himself either.

Wasn't some Democrat senator quoted as saying about the ACA "we have to pass the bill to find out what's in it?" Very strange to attack a bill for something her Democrat colleagues used to support a different bill a few years ago.

This is a misleading quote, Pelosi said "We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it, away from the cloud of controversy". The contents of the bill were made public long before it's passage, as is the law.

What are the odds that Wu goes to vote in the district where he lives just to not see his name (cause he's not running in the district he lives in) and he freaks out on Twitter just for someone to prove him wrong

Unfortunately, low. Wu has acknowledged they aren't a voter in the district he's running in, but he's alluded to trying to change that. But honestly, despite him saying that, I feel like there is still a chance because Wu really does not understand how elections work. I could see him thinking something like everyone votes for all the districts or something no matter where they live, and his earlier comments were just about moving to district 8 or something. Then there would be an 8 angry tweet chain about someone mansplaining voting to him.

Brianna says a lot of shit but it's ultimately not his call. I doubt Frank is willing to move for a grift that's pulling so little.

But you're on the mark with John not knowing anything about politics. He demonstrates that every time he attempts to speak on the subject. It's embarrassing how little he knows given that he spent at least a couple of years trying to major in the subject.

"I have a professional policy of not going after women publicly"

Uber
American Airlines
Nintendo
Going after women publicly

Can we take a stand in anything?

So the MP's in my area recently had a BBQ at the local community hall and spent around $5000 or more on the food and drinks and didn't charge a dime to get to know their voters. What does Wu do with his money? Goes out and modifies his Nintendo shit.

"I LOVE this book even though it purportedly stands against everything I believe in"

"Shamelessly panders to white men" and why is this a bad thing? There's plenty of trans and lesbian media available. Go read that John. If an author wants to write books for men or women, who gives a fuck? Why should we police this? If there's a literary void not being filled, other than that mangled penis hole you have, you can go write some books to fill it.

Also, did you just out yourself as a white dude Johnny boy?

Oh yeah, without a doubt neither one of them has any intention to move. I just mentioned it to show that Wu's at least aware he doesn't already live in the district he's running. Even if they did live in District 8, I don't think Wu would muster up the energy to go out and vote for himself.

First of all, in her usual form, Wu failed to do even enough research to get the author's name correct. It's Ernest Cline, with a C.

Secondly, Wu obviously didn't bother to even read the book if she considers his work to be reflective of misogynist viewpoints

Lastly, as an amusing point, the audiobook version of Ready Player One was narrated by Wil Fucking Wheaton... How does Wu expect that all the poor female characterizations got past that jackass?

Wu's response to RP1 is hilarious. Literally, it's everything that John would want in a story and more... but because he's Brianna, he needs to nitpick through it to find all the 'problematic issues' and nod his head approvingly at the people who have *real* criticisms of it from a real non-privileged point of view.

There is no one more white and male than Brianna Wu. It drips from every sentence he writes. In his heart, RP1 is a perfect nostalgia piece and I'm amused at the cognitive dissonance he has to undergo to trash talk it.
