And even more weirdly, the worst death threats of all came from our good ol' friend Chloe Sagal, who spammed Wu's Patreon and Twitter with insanely long and frankly frightening rants (if you didn't know what a loser she is). We never heard a peep out of Wu about them. It's almost as though he isn't concerned about people screaming on the Internet unless he can milk it for attention.

In essence, for state and the big Presidental elections, you can be unaffiliated. But Congressional runs, nope.

Too bad, I know there's states where crossover voting is legal, and it's indeed been used to sabotage elections when crazies have ran. So we just have to hope Wu can win on her own.
 
I'm honestly hoping she does get elected, so her constituents can stumble across these threads.
 
I'm pretty torn, on the one hand I want Wu to win the primary just to see what she'd actually do and it'd be hilarious to see her lose to a Republican or to win and see her screeching in congress.
On the other hand I don't want Lynch to be out of a job since he seems like a genuinely good politician who actually cares about his constituents and isn't bound by a cancerous ideology.

I just don't know *sigh*
 
Even for the lulz, it isn't worth it to validate Wu's delusions. Losing the primary with < 1% of the vote is the best thing all around.

What I think would be best is if when the actual primary season starts, some other challenger shows up, then Lynch has a debate with him and beats him, but Wu gets no votes and the other challenger gets something like 20%, and at no point does either real candidate even acknowledge John's existence.

I have no idea how debates work in Massachusetts Democratic primaries, but under some rules if a candidate doesn't hit a particular number in the polls (usually quite low) then no, he wouldn't be invited.
 
It just occurred to me that it's possible she won't get any votes, since she's carpetbagging and can't force Frank to go vote for her.

It's really unlikely, but I would eat that shit up.

I don't think either Frank or John can even vote in that election since they don't live in District 8.
 
Just finished catching up on the thread from page 600-something.. wow. Just wow.

Obviously, Johnny Boy stands no chance, and it's good that Lynch isn't touching anything about Wu at all. But is this screeching harpy really going to continue the cosplay of "going to Washington" for a whole year? I mean, yeah, he kept up the "feminist game dev" thing for a while, but.. I somehow just see it faltering already.
