It may be, but not because of John's joke campaign. John is completely irrelevant to anything. Lynch will be easily reelected. Quite possibly, he will never even acknowledge John's scam.

For the benefit of anyone who didn't hear it first time round: http://www.wbur.org/radioboston/2017/03/09/march-9-2017-rb

Lynch is asked about Wu @ 14:50 - and his response is delightful.
Lynch:" *laughs* God bless them!"
Interviewer: "I'm just doing my job - we had to ask you about that..."

Ha! That's the same interviewer who asked Bri the simplest questions that got her all frazzled--questions like "do you live in the district?" And "how successful was your game?"

It was just a normal, fair interview. Shows that Wu falls apart under normal circumstances and needs coddling interviews to spew her fake achievements.

I just brought my car to the garage, and everyone there was a mechanic. We need diversity.
I just went in to get my heatstroke checked out, and everyone there was some sort of doctor or nurse. We need diversity!
So I went to get some chemicals for my in-ground pool, and every single employee there was a pool man. Do you realize that the probability of an office happening to consist entirely of pool men is 0.000003498%?!

Why on earth is John so surprised that writing workable laws that will actually function as intended in our justice system requires lawyers?

To be fair, politicians tend to be really bad at writing science laws. More than half the congress doesn't believe in global warming.

John' never been on a dev team, how would he know?

You teach them that when an ideology becomes so snobbish and hegemonic among the so-called political, social, and academic elite, Donald J. Trump is the kind of person who ends up rising to the top.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I wouldn't be annoyed to see more politicians with backgrounds in different industries, but of course lawyers are going be more common in political roles thanks to the overlap in skills. Brianna is, of course, only brining this up because what she really wants to say is "I'm not qualified to be a politician but you should still vote for me"

Statutes are also written in a very specialized jargon and interpreted by courts (and the agencies that enforce the laws) through a somewhat rigid process called "statutory construction," i.e. how the language is construed. If you don't write laws very precisely, then courts don't do what you want them to do and your policy goals are thwarted, sometimes in outright Kafkaesque ways.

John can't even write a series of tweets without descending into gibberish. He is absolutely incompetent ever to write a statute that would affect other people's lives. Good thing he's never getting elected.

Reading game dev twitter, it's amusing to me that Wu is now a meme that transcends any malice towards her world view or politics....

Imagine being so publicly, vocally terrible at your chosen profession that people use your words as a joke.

This line of attack is so rich from the Democrats. Are we forgetting Bill Clinton shoving cigars up interns in the Oval Office?
Give me a blow hard over a rapist any day.

Sure John, also what does purple taste like?

Ah ha ha, hilarious, John! You should tell this one next time you're on the """"campaign trail"""!

Making ham-fisted analogies building codes and house fires a few days after the London fire, now joking about shootings after a mass shooting... If anyone gave a shit about Wu, they'd certainly be giving quite a lot of shits right about now.

Notably, Wu is not giving quite a lot of shits right now. Does that mean...?
