The collective insanity and delusion of these people is truly jaw-dropping. Even if you accept at 100% face value that John is a brave and stunning video game developer who has endured billions of hours of harassment, it beggars belief as to how anyone can still think that this campaign is an actual thing based on this "ad" alone. I'm honestly at a loss for words at how it's possible to live in a complete parallel dimension.

The former (Brianna believes he's the more famous of the pair). John talks a good game about how he's this incredible supermodel who gets hit on by hot guys all the time, but his actions show that some part of him realizes he is hideous. I think the Farms and others collectively mocking his freakish appearance has been enough to break through the thick bubble of delusion regarding his looks.

Most of what could be said has been said (when you think of Brianna you think of integrity? Frank got that out with a straight face? Well, there is like 10 seconds of silence afterward, so maybe not), but I'll point out one thing. John isn't in this commercial except for that ghastly 5 second take because his makeup person is a disaster. It could be that his face has become such a trainwreck that nothing much can be done, but I really don't think that's it. The makeup is caked on like he's attending his own wake. It's genuinely off-putting and creepy.
 
Who is running for congress, Frank or Brianna? I wonder why she doesn't appear on camera more often.... Oh, wait.

I'm dissapointed, i wanted to see that autistic Godzilla vs Trump ad, instead we get 2 minutes of a chink sucking John's invisible cock.

Wow. Holy fucking shit. That's a campaign ad?

The bit at 2:12 when John suddenly appears actually startled me in my seat. I had to get up from my desk and take some time away from the computer. The way the edit was done, there is really no buffer from goofy looking, pot belled, china-man to ghoulish tranny. You go straight from a non-threatening Asian to what appears to be Buffalo Bill inside a fraction of a second. Pretty jarring. John looks like he is on his way to a goth club or Marilyn Manson show with his dark (black) lip liner or whatever he has going on. A lot of candidates work pretty hard to avoid the whole funeral parlor / walking corpse look. Apparently John, ever the contrarian, wants to embrace it. Shame about all that money thrown into the vocal surgery, his voice really has that pitch shifted, Silence of the Lambs vibe to go with his ghastly look.

Not a video expert, but:
  • "Husband of Brianna Wu (and then) and Biotech Expert"
    Because for his credibility it's more important that he's her husband, I guess?
  • I know people can't do anything for how their voices sound, but Frank sounds like a stereotypical gay guy with a cold, trying to do the voice of a stereotypical 13-year-old girl.
    Also, he is mumbling half of the time.
  • The framing sucks shouldn't there be at least bit of a space between the upper end of the frame and his head?
  • Look into the camera Frank. Sit straight and don't do air quotes, ever.
  • He didn't even bother to put on a jacket and a tie.
  • Camera shaking at ~1:45
  • There was a blurring transition and a jump cut later, I really expected a Star Wars screen wipe to be in there too.
  • This entire thing said nothing about what she plans to do.
  • @Eli Whitney My heart leaped too as Brianna jump-cutted on the screen, I know this had to be expected, but seriously you just need to put a jump scare sound in there and it's perfect.
  • Black bars on both sides as the flag appear.
