Eh, I still think at one point he believed it was legit. Announcing his intent to run so soon after Hillary's defeat was him trying to strike while the iron was hot and John thinking he had an easy way into office if he chose just the right opponent. Of course, the campaign was doomed for many reasons previously discussed and somewhere around March he began to realize that it was just a pipe dream. Nowadays, Wu is coasting until he can find another angle or hoping that someone will come along that he and Frank can con into endorsing his joke of a run (remember him trying to get on 314 Action's radar).
