Over in real life I've been moving, and between a roommate who was burning incense 24/7 to keep spooks out or something and my own filthy habits the shit I had way high up got pretty bad, but even after a few years of not dusting it only got up to roughly the same as the dust on their eye-level filthy shelves with toys.

You know what else must burn? It's been said before time and time again, but as I sit here and ponder how fucked up a day in the life of John must be, one thing comes to mind: We've never once seen John interact with an attractive woman of high social status. Fat, or busted ass looking feminist broads, blue haired internet weirdos and skanks sure, but not once have we ever seen John with the type of woman he wants so badly to be: the hot-chick in an in clique like in his comics and games. The reason for this, is that women like this have absolutely no use for him. Off topic, but here goes. When Mythbusters went off the air, Adam Savage described the single scariest moment on the show: submerging a car in water to see if an air pocket was produced that made surviving for hours possible (go Teddy Kennedy!). Turned out the car had belonged to a smoker, and when all that old ash mixed with the water and got into his eyes, it nearly blinded him -- burning, blurred vision, swelling, the works. So yeah, cigs leave disgusting and copious residue when smoked in a confined space.

Ivroy tower implies to me that someone is an academic who's deep focus on theory makes them myopic to the practical aspects of a subject. It still implies credibility, albeit sometimes not directly appliapplicable to problem solving. John unfortunately has no academic basis for any of his predictions at all. So yeah, I agree very much with the second part of your statement. His entire worldview is formulated from sci-fi, often of questionable taste, that he barely even understands. Its like watching a little kid except that instead of being inspired by a childs naive yet hopeful dreams of the future, you are just grossed out by a mentaly ill, 40 year old guy, ineffectively cosplaying as a woman, who you would think would know a bit more about his field.

In whatever figurative building Wu might be living in, it is probably a phallic shaped object of poor taste.
